Are these quotes for real? If there was just one book whore making these claims, there would be a lot more room for suspicion. That there are a variety of sources from a wide range of times, settings contexts indicates that yes, this individual talks a lot of shit. Not that talking shit is a crime, that’s correct, but it does reflect a lack of temperance and reveals a lot about her character.

To actually think that she’s anything but a power whore that will do or say anything to get elected is fairly foolish. She’s all about her own ambitions, and daily refuses to take any stand to define herself as a person of conscience.

Scott B’s post on 11/20/07, shows what true idiocy is. Obviously Mr. B. is one of those who is completely at ease with anything regardless of the effect it has on his or anyone else’s liberty. W may not be as eloquent as Hitlery or as oily as Slick Willy, but he’s a damn sight better than either of those two Commie-loving traitors.

It’s clear to me that Mr. B is biased against W. Why do you think our country is in the shape it’s in right now? All one has to do is go back to the Legislative branches and examine the records of the leaders of the Democrap party such as Ted Kennedy, Robert Byrd, Nancy Pelosi, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid…and pretty much the rest of that treasonous camp. I don’t understand why so many folks walk into their respective voting precincts with either Union election recommendations or just pick a straight Democrap ticket when the evidence is crystal clear that the Democraps have done nothing except sell this country right down the river. The only decent Democrap in office right now is Joe Lieberman.

One of the most exasperating things is that people just keep voting these idiots in..time and time again and can’t see the problem for what it is. Unions have done nothing for their members in the area of election suggestions. They, too, are populated with a bunch of pinheaded leaders whose only real concerns are what helps the Union…and hurts its members. National Health Care? Who do you think is going to pay for that? Where does the money come from?

Sorry, Scott, but you’re way, way off base here. Hillary Clinton is totally wrong for this country. Now or any other time. She’s the worst thing that could happen for the time being.

Hence, we, who are not believers in that faith, are to be treated as animals. Her despicable behaviour is much the same as Israel’s behaviour towards the Palestinians and anyone else who does not agree with them. We have to wake up and re read what Jesus said about those people in Matthew 23. He called them, ‘the children of Satan’. Since He is my leader, I tend to follow His advice. I’m certain He knew what He was talking about.

On Minnesota Public Radio the other week they had a journalist who was interested in following up on ordinary people who spoke to Hillary during her campaigning stops in various towns and cities. One was somewhere in the midwest I believe. Here, Clinton and her entourage entered a mom and pop restaurant for lunch and the waitress was interviewed later by the journalist as to what she thought about Hillary. Did meeting her in person sway her to vote for Hillary? Well, this waitress told Hillary she was a single mom with two little ones and trying to hold down two jobs and still finding it tough to get ahead of her bills etc. Hillary made no comment on what she said only demanded what she wanted to eat and asked her to make it quick. Did she leave a tip? Absolutely not. The waitress seemed to have mixed feelings about this. On one hand she expected the first lady to tip but then she let her off the hook by saying how busy she must be.
Anyway, we can all see what a hippocrite this candidate is. As a woman I can say I detest her. I too have read excerpts from Cathy O’Briens book, ‘The Trance-Formation of America’. The disgusting inhumane goings-on that these people practice and the insane agenda they are a part of I want nothing to do with. I do not believe I have ever felt so called to vote for the one named Ron Paul ever in my life as I do now. The most revealing Hillary quote I’ve seen is not by her but about her, by her husband, as related by Bill’s mistress, Gennifer Flowers, in her book, “Passion and Betrayal”:

[W]hen I heard some rumors floating around Little Rock, I had to speak up. He was with me at home one evening, and I cautiously told him, “There’s something you need to know. I’ve been hearing tales around town that Hillary is having a thing with another woman.” I watched his face to see his reaction, and couldn’t believe it when he burst out laughing. I was stunned! I asked him what was so funny. “Honey,” he said, “she’s probably eaten more pussy than I have.”

I think you have a whole lot of Karam to catch up on first and Ron Paul is being shown to you just as you go down the toilet, so that you may know what you might have had, if instead of boasting, lying and deluding yourselves, you’d actually been a great democracy and champion of freedom. As it is, the USA is due for a whole lot of hurt, and sadly even those who would have, could have made a difference are going to have to suffer along with the rest of you.

Later you said, in effect, that the burden is on the doubters, of the alleged Hillary quotes that were the starting focus of this thread, to disprove their authenticity. This is not reasonable in light of two things: 1) The doubters are not making the postive assertion, and 2) the political right-wing has shown a willingness to win at any cost, including that of the truth itself. Examples of 2 include the wrongful purging of voter rolls (especially in Florida in 2000), rigged voting machines (both Florida, 00, and Ohio, 04, and elsewhere) , lying (about the reasons) to get us into a war that was more about our need for energy, and Bush’s personal vendetta, than about defeating Islamist terrorism), outing intelligence operatives (an unbelievably treasonous action that killed how many CIA agents?), lying about the war’s body count, reneging on service members’ enlistment compensation agreements and denying veterans’ benefits, and of course, the fundamental one: promoting superstition (religion) over reason and science, and if all that isn’t enough, keep in mind that this list is FAR from exhaustive.
AND!! Former White House Press Secretary, Scotty MacClellan came out with it today about the lies authorised by Bush himself in the Valerie Plame affair. Not that we all didn’t know that already, of course!

If it were not for the fact she will cost the rest of the world eventually also, I’d be all for her election. I could think of no better Karma for the most atrocious and roundly hated nation on earth.

Under Cheney and his pet Chimp the USA has sunk to the lowest ebb in every respect in just eight years. Under the Clinton bitch you will actually come to see these as the good old days. I sincerely pray you end up in one of your torture camps one day. You have even less self respect that you have brains evidently.

Your comment about Ron Paul’s position on Abortion is typical of the most idiotic and useless of yanks in their deluded state. Pay attention you foul little man.

The only viable candidate who would stop the US murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, men women and children, for profits; every year; IS RON PAUL! The rest, led by the Clinton Bicth are aching to start on a new sovereign nation in fact.

Yet you want to whine about a few dead Amercian Fetuses? Frankly man you are a strong argument for Abortion and considering your mental development it is probably not even too late for you to be rectified in that manner. Technically you are not quite human yet it seems.

HOWEVER, and this is the crux of the issue.

RON PAUL IS NOT RUNNING FOR DOG CATCHER, OR MAYOR. HE IS A CONSTITUTIONIST AND HIS POSITION ON ABORTION, (pay attention bozo, this is the important bit now) IS THAT IT IS NOT A FEDERAL ISSUE. IT IS A STATE MATTER, ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION.\

SO what has Ron Paul’s personal beliefs about Abortion got to do with it you fuckwit? He does not propose to have any say in the matter at all! He specifically relegates that to a state responsibility. I know this is way beyond what you can probably understand.

After all I am an Australian and even though you are around the other side of this globe, that means I have an education and the ability to reason which you have not got, as your education system is currently third world in standard. You turn out illiterate college graduates for god’s sake. I try to communicate with your so called college graduates regularly and find a level of intellect and articulacy beneath that of my own primary school aged children. You whatever you are, are an excellent case in point, no matter what your education level your ability to reason is clearly non existent whilst your empty headed, inherited or programmed opinions persist in dribbling out of your mind like shit from a leaking sewer pipe.

Oh I might have used a word you don’t know the meaning of too.

I think it would be surreal for an Australian Rabbit to have to lecture a yank on the CONSTITUTION, so I suggest you go look it up. (Fat chance, I expect we’ll get some more empty headed bullshit from you instead.)

Frankly I could not care less if you support some of Paul’s positions or not.

I personally think that support from someone like you would be worse than none at all. They don’t need you. Like they say, may your chains sit lightly upon you, and may history forget you were ever their countryman.

OH and PS: I do hope you excusers for the murdering, lesbian Clinton bitch appreciate my own excessive profanity. I think it is so appropriate considering your reactions to the truth. It is not the profanity morons, it is the beast which utters them and what it stands for.

Not testy Marky. There are many more emotions that the two or three you are programmed with.

There are various words which would describe my feelings for you and your sort. Begginning with disgust, loathing and contempt. I can assure you that since it is not my nation which is on the line and no matter what you fuckwits do, we will get by regardless, I am frankly almost ambivalent. However truth and right do matter to me, and that is something which has no meaning to you because you cannot recognize either, so I am inclined to be very disgusted by such totally useless beings as you and your empty meaningless drivel.

As for testy, not really, you see I am quite content, comfortable and my country is not facing economic and social ruin. It is a nice sunny day and I am making lots of money just sitting here waiting for the machinery in my factory to crank out another kayak. Meanwhile I am indulging in some quite fun abuse of some truly deserving morons. Said morons have no means to reciprocate, because neither their education, or reality lends itself to the purpose.

I imagine you are not enjoying having so much self evident and undeniable truth jammed full throttle down your flag humping neck however and the phony “You are getting angry” response you cretins think covers for your own lack of an argument, is so old even your own kind hardly uses that one anymore.

What I really hate, what really makes me mad though, is the Clinton Bitch. Because unlike you bozo, I have a memory and recall quite well what went on under the last Clinton presidency, and it wasn’t a blowjob from a silly office tart. I also, unlike you, actually do my research and know full well that the Clinton Bitch is one of the vilest human beings on this planet.
    \
That is by far the majority opinion also and thus up to you to challenge. I guess you must be an illegal immigrant are you? Maybe you just love illegal immigrants? Because the Clinton Bitch does, on behalf of her masters of course. Martial Law seems like a great idea for you and Nuclear attacks on non aggressive NON nuclear states seems pretty good to you8 to I guess. What a great way to make the USA great again. Start a Nuclear war. Oh yes that should do it.

What is the problem with electing your own president? Why do you just leave it to the corporations and Zionists to do for you and then act like you wanted their choice all along? Do you even realize that the Clinton Bitch is dropping sharply in the polls and is far from a certainty thanks to a genuine grass roots revolution by real live patriotic Americans?

If she had to run against a genuine candidate, like Ron Paul she will be blown away in the wind. BUT oh no, you would rather have a simple choice between a Giant Douchebag and a Turd Sandwich. Perish the thought that the American people might actually choose their own president, you’d rather the Diebold machines gave you the candidate the elitists want for the country. I know it is hard to think for yourself, if you’ve never done it before, but you should practice. Once your country collapses in the next couple of years, you are going to need a whole lot of new thinking I can assure you.

That is but one issue. There was a string of suspicious deaths around the Clintons, many of which wee very well documented as to their significance and even down to many of the specifics of the “murders” for such they were. Then my little bozoid, we can consider Iraq, which was decimated under the most medieval, over the tops sanctions of modern history. Then we could consider WACO, though maybe such a sheep as you thinks they were terrorists who should have been deliberately murdered in a massive assault based upon falsified evidence and a string of lies.

There were many other violent, murderous acts of genocide committed by Billo, whilst Hitlery cheered on the side, that is whilst she wasn’t occupied munching between the legs of other women, in the next room from where Billo was doing the same no doubt. The history of the Bitch, the sort of statements she has made, some of which are reproduced above make clear she is the beast from hell. She is totally committed to the Israel lobby and puts their interests above ALL OTHERS and that also was her own words. I could go on, but see no point for you are in deep denial mode and reality is but a distant buzz in your ears.

You can forget the suggestion I am anything but vastly more informed than you, something I have proven repeatedly here without even trying. Your own statements damn you you poseur. You say you are well aware that Paul might NOT ty to ban abortion. That is so stupid as to be laughable, again. It is simple you shithead.

Ron Paul has stated categorically that he would have NO SAY in the issue of Aboortion. His voting record is 100% solid, he has NEVER gone against his word or the principle of constitutional government. So your words ring utterluy hollow. Everyone who actually pays attention knows without a doubt that PAUL WILL NOT BAN ABORTION. Yet you say you are well aware he “might not”. Even you should be able to see the total non sequiter. That itself shows simply that you are not aware of a damned thing actually. Also you are now flipping back on what you proposed was a major issue. It isn’t relevant at all. That isn’t hard to understand matey, it is simple and easily comprehended in the constitution. I think you should go look that word up, go on and see if you can find where the constitution is involved in the office of the presidency. Go on, I dare you. Don’t come and tell us you know all about it, you have just finished proving you have not got a clue.

Your last sentence is nothing but empty drum beating. So what? What has any collective got to do with Ron Paul running for president? Would you maybe have the president make abortion a federal matter would you? Then you have no concept of your constitutional government or how it is to be protected. Your entire second last paragraph is totally meaningless now in light of the points you have attempted to make. You have apparently disappeared up your own backside son. You are now talking about totally no related issues.

Your final sentence is an exercise in abject stupidity. The point was apparently lost on you that Hitlery Clinton is entirely supportive of illegal immigration, because that is what her corporate master want. Like a good sheep you obviously want it too. You seem overly concerned about a few fetuses yet supremely indifferent to the deaths and sufferings of millions of innocent men women and FULLY BORN ALIVE CHILDREN! You are exactly the sort of groveling shit for brains moron which has brought the USA to the brink of disaster by being so totally tuned into the bullshit you think your shit is cake these days.

You I think made the comment earlier that you would vote for anyone rather than more of Bush and Cheney. I cannot be bothered to check, but if it was, let me just tune you up. Neither Bush nor Cheney will be running in 2008. You may be a native of the USA, which is far from something to be proud of in this world I can promise you, but as for being a true patriotic American you are not. I know such people and they would rather you were not among them. These people stand for the America you like to boast about, the one you have helped to destroy the one which if fuckwits like you have their way, will never rise again. There is only one candidate who is talking truth, sense and who is committed to the constitution. He is the only one who will do anything different than the current crop of war criminals and incompetent perverts in office, and that is Ron Paul. Trouble with you is you are so far up your own arse by now with your garbage deluded imaginings that you can no longer recognize a true leader a true man of courage and honor and principles. If you are the majority in the USA, then you never will get such a president either.

I sometimes meet Aussies who make me shudder to think that they can, (and here must) vote. But it is nothing compared to the shock and truly disturbing implications of people like you being able to vote. Thankfully I imagine that someone who beats out such an empty gonging tune on his little drum, probably does not get off his fat arse to vote anyway.

Do you remember when Habeus Corpus had meaning in the USA? To the rest of the world it is still the founding principle of law but do you recall how you once had it? Recall how you used to be free and able to express any opinion without facing eavesdropping, detention and no fly lists? Not that such freedoms mean anything to gutless cringers I know.

40% of Americans believe that Iraq was behind 9/11. Now that is a very telling figure. You are probably one of them too. I am also sure you might pretend you are not, but if not then you are one of the few who believes the sort of crap you do, who does not.

You totally miss the point. Surprise surprise. Such elitists as Hitlery Clinton have no need to hide any such things. Firstly they figure they own the world and secondly, dickheads like you will always be there to run interference for the truth so it can do little harm. Especially in a nation so dumbed down as yours.

Frankly we in the wider world watch the USA as it sinks into debauchery and disaster, with increasingly amazed fascination. We wonder if there is anything evil enough, gross enough or dishonest enough that you as a nation will stand up and say enough. So far it seems not. You have invented a new crime against all life, called Omnicide and yet you still call yourselves God’s gift to the world, and a Christian example no less.

Genocide was once known as the ultimate crime. NOW thanks to DU weapons, long banned by the civilized world we have a new crime to top them all. OMNICIDE.

You are still proud of your little dungheap though. Good onyas. I think it is poetic justice that so many of you are frantically humping those flags, and spouting empty slogans and trying to defend the indefensible; as you sink into the swamp of the abyss. Absolutely classic. Down down you go cretins. Glug glug glug. hey I can just about buy one US dollar now for one AUD. What is the bet that by this time next year, I’ll be able to buy two or three US dollars for my one AUD?

I know you think that is no problem, so what you8 say I can still use my $US in the USA, but you have a wee problem. Everything in the USA is imported just about. Most significantly your energy. I have just joined a class action here to demand our energy companies stop pricing our energy in US dollars by the way. Don’t worry about Iran, the whole world is tired of your dirty and sinking currency. The gig is up, you are going bankrupt and Hitlery is just one of those who did it to you.

    Rabbit,

You’re laboring under so many misapprehensions.

    1) I am pro-abortion rights. I think I’ve made that clear here. So it is meaningless for you to say I’m a living argument for legal abortion, as I don’t believe you have to argue for that with me.
I think I’ve made it clear that I don’t give a damn about dead fetuses.. obviously.

    2) I’m obviously one of my country’s liberals (also known as progressives, or the left-wing), in any case I’m not a member or supporter of the US Republican Party.

    but..

It might puzzle you to be informed that I, and many others like me, are quite aware – and dismayed – at the betrayal of our cause by the US Democratic Party. They are, by-and-large, quislings.. traitors almost without exception, and should be impeached themselves as well.

Still, nevertheless, a party that has as its principal political current the establishment of a THEOCRACY (for us, that’s the Republican Party) is more dangerous still.

As bad as the Clinton presidency was in absolute terms, most of us remember those as “the good old days” relative to what is happening now.
I realize that this isn’t saying enough.

No, it is by-and-large, the rightists, corporatists, theocrats.. representatives of entrenched privilege and power-for-power’s-sake that are committing the omnicide.

“Amurikans” are not a monolithic, lock-step group.

It may be a moot point, but most of us did not approve the use of DU munitions, or the largely America-based corporate imperialism that I agree has besieged so much of the world. How excellent. I have to admit that while your ideas about Hitlery are very confused yet and there is no rationale to them, you do seem to have evolved beyond the apelike minority of your countrymen after all. Kudos for that. For myself as a retired explosives tech and Pyrotechnician, I knew on 9/11 what happened to those buildings and have been a very active 9/11 truther ever since.

“Habeas Corpus” now means: “We have the corpse”.

Yes Mark that is a literal interpretation. It actually refers to the rights of an accused person to see and access the body of evidence against them in the event they are charged under the law with a crime. Under Bush this has been essentially eliminated as an inalienable right. Hitlery Clinton has never even had a problem with the elimination of Habeus Corpus or any of the freedoms or rights you once held as Bush has destroyed them one after another. Indeed she is licking her bloody chops in anticipation of using all those lovely oppressive laws against her opponents and people who speak out, complain and who want the sorts of things it appears you are seeking, despite your evident confusion about where how they might be achieved.

Meanwhile there is a candidate who has stated without any hesitation that he will reinstate ALL those rights, notably Habeus Corpus among them. He has promised to repeal the Patriots and those other nasty Military Commissions acts etc. Furthermore unlike any of the other candidates, he voted against all of these things when the Criminal Bush Junta introduced them. That is important you see, because consistency is usually considered a desirable trait in a politician. Can you guess who that candidate is?

I actually recognize you are not an idiot, just a moron. But it might pass. So I won’t insult your intelligence anymore by naming him for you. I think you might have the drift by now. Just a hint though, it is NOT Obama.

    1) I know you are pro abortion rights Mark. My point was that you are a justification for abortion in living colour. My point which must have been too subtle, sorry, was that you should have been aborted.

    2) Liberal appears to mean you support people who have been and will be again mass murderers? It means you support the White house becoming a whore house and the genocide and plunder which goes along with corrupt corporate owned presidents. the biggest difference between a Clinton and Bush presidency is that instead of lesbian and rampant heterosexual running about ducking and sucking all over the place, it is a bunch of faggots committing buggery all over. Meanwhile it is business as usual.

If you are so disenchanted with the Dems, who are far more lost without any light at the end of the tunnel than the Reps, who at least have a chance with Paul, then why the hell are you working overtime to justify their beastly choice of a candidate? There is no question about who will be their candidate. None at all.

There is no desire within the Republican party to establish a theocracy. The NeoCons who have hijacked the party have played to the fundamentalist Christians for their own ends but their actions have been anti Christian whether removing references to God from public buildings, banning Christmas, decorations, prayers in schools etc. Usually I might add as a result of the Jewish lobby even though it is ofetn falsely reported as due to a Muslim lobby. LOL What Muslim lobby?

Meanwhile Ron Paul is running as a CONSTITUTIONALIST, and his stated position is separation of Church and State, so why do you once again introduce this total non-sequiter? It has nothing to do with anything at all; we are talking about. You really need to assemble your thoughts a bit more coherently.

Just because the putrid garbage of the Clinton presidency tasted better than the shit of the Bush one, does not make the putrid garbage cake. The Clinton presidency was not the good old days and what is more if that si your attitude then rest assured that you will soon be looking back on Bush’s reign as the good old days too. You can have someone else but a Bush or Clinton for pres you know> And if you cannot then what does that tell you? is accepting what you are forced to accept the way now is it? The Clinton presidency, with the new fascist system and dictatorial powers cerated by the Bush regime would be a nightmare of terrible proportions.

A point you seem to have lost yourself, is that I said I was not sure if it was you who spoke of Conspiracy Theories, and as I said I could not be bothered to check. I am pleased my memory was good enough that it was another mark though. I also agree with what you tell to this Mark.

It is totally NOT the republican party which controls the military it is the presidency and it is controlled by the Military Industrial complex, the Zionists and the elite secret mafia. The Clinton presidency committed the same crimes as the Bush one using the same military and another Clinton pres will do the same. So your point is null and void.

Murikans are a lockstep group. It is just that some march under a Blue banner and some under a red one. That is to fool you into thinking you have two different parties. see how it works great too? You actually beleive there is a difference.

Yes, it is a moot point that not all Americans support the use of DU. You are making excuses for someone who will be happy to keep using it whilst you dare to oppose the one and only candidate who would stop it. Kind of makes it moot don’t you think? Your hands are as bloody as any other Americans I assure you.

You talk a good line son but when you speak of it having to be stopped, then support a candidate who would not stop but actually increase its use whilst you try to denigrate one who would stop it, you simply lose all credibility.

You really do need to assemble your thoughts in to a rational and coherent format. You say you believe one thing yet support the one who would do the polar opposite. Among the many points you failed to grasp, taking instead some silly idea from it as if I was making a point about you being an illegal immigrant is that Hitlery supports illegal immigration, because her corporate masters do.

I never said I was for Hillary.. Generally speaking, I’m not. Hillary is basically an opportunistic, compromising, willing-to-do-anything-to-get-elected core member of the establishment.

But implying that there is a comparison here to Adolph Hitler is really just a bit over the top. She hasn’t provided evidence that she’s that bad.

There are lots of bad politicians. But I have to agree with a recent poster here, regarding the truly extreme invective coming at Hillary Clinton. To single out Hillary Clinton for the kind of hatred she seems to get from some quarters – either without any specific evidence justifying it, or with “evidence” taken from the Richard Melon Scaife propaganda empire – comes off as being just so much misogyny.

If you’re going to single out someone as particularly evil and worthy of such utter condemnation as many in this thread do regarding Hillary Clinton, your evidence to support your case should be at least somewhat more unimpeachable than the mere word of some partisan propagandist.. at least if you endeavor to be fair about it.

I’m sorry, Rabbit, but you’re simply wrong. The evidence is overwhelming that the Christian religious right has set the agenda for the Republican Party at least since shortly before the 1980 Reagan presidential election (really going back further than that). And though there has been *some* disenchantment with the party on the religious right in the past two years, or so, thanks to some of the smarter ones among them recognizing the Bush regime for the cynical, manipulative thing that it is, this is still largely true. Is this all a non-sequitur vis-a-vis the Ron Paul candidacy, as you assert?
Then, why is Ron Paul running as a Republican, instead of Democrat? If there truly is NO difference between the two branches of the Republocrat Party, as some here believe (and I do too, sometimes), then why choose the Republican group, when it is obvious that that group is associated with such stupid religious bigotry? It goes without saying that not all Christians are that way, but the rightist political Christians who want to police other people’s sexual activities, burn books and popular music albums, and ban contraception or abortion, are.

I am a liberal (which actually in my case, means left-libertarian-republican (small letters only)) who no longer trusts our mainstream politicians much anymore, and so I’m taking many of the opposing points made here under advisement. And I totally agree that Ron Paul should get the Republican Party nomination. Though I clearly believe that no one should consent to be a member of that rotten party, Ron Paul’s victory within that party would make the Republican Party more friendly to rational values, and possibly spare our country, and the world, continued assaults from that party’s more authoritarian agenda.

Madman McGill: Bush is only rounding up terrorists, and not innocent people? Since it is plainly evident that the Bush regime cannot be trusted, you mustn’t just assume this.

Is Hillary as dangerous to civil liberties as many here are asserting? After the utterly disgraceful performance of many Democrats lately, including Hillary herself (advocating the continuation of our misguided war), and as distrustful as I have now become of establishment politicians, generally, I honestly don’t know anymore. But my point was, and still is, that one should have more substantial reasons for supposing the absolute worst about someone, as many here apparently do, than mere feelings; in this case, feelings of hostility toward a woman because she doesn’t fit into the mold of “traditional values” as some see it, isn’t a Republican, and has a caustic-tongue at that – or the mere word of some opposition partisan (R. M. Scaife, et. al.).

We havent been attacked, the economy is ok not great but ok(I have a job do you?) So we are hated around the world, the popular kid usually is. I don’t see how anyone could vote for the Dems. They aren’t going to change things for the better. We will be seen as losers if pack up and leave Iraq. We will be taxed to the hilt and we will be pushed back to our borders by our enemies. I have God, Guns and Guts and I dare the commies bastards to try and take any of that away.

The quotes ARE, in fact, true. If you don’t care to read the books (I don’t after having read just one out of morbid curiosity), then do a little research and verify the validity of the quotes. You’ll find they are indeed.
A friend of mine is a retired secret service agent. When I asked him recently at a party if the things I’ve heard/read over the years about Hiliary were true (i.e. she has a horrible potty mouth and she is a lesbian), he just smiled and said, “She smokes like a chimney.” (Nice avoidance, ay?)
I read another source about a year ago re how various presidents/first ladies have treated/treat the secret service. To avoid a diatribe, the best and better liked were Gerald Ford, Betty, George W (yes, “W”) and Laura. The worst? You guessed it, Hiliary. She belittled them constantly and treated them in the most condescending manner ever.
I’ve joked for years, saying, “If that woman ever runs for president, a prerequisite must be shaving her head and closely looking for those three, infamous sixes!” Laughing? Could be!
Disappointed in Bush, but AFRAID of Hiliary,

It is true that in 1992, President Clinton passed what, at that time, was the largest tax increase in US history. And now Bush has, in effect, outclassed him in this regard by skyrocketing the federal budget deficit..

The budget deficit is that “indirect tax” that Ron Paul refers to: deficit “financing” made possible by the fiat-currency-based banking system.

Actual productiveness will save our economy, not currency manipulations and wars – however justified – that only enrich certain special interests.

By actual productiveness, I mean a renewed special industrial focus on the central role of scientists and engineers, and their works; notably amateur techs and tinkerers, not just tenured university and government researchers. There must be special emphasis on the development and marketing of innovative, new energy technologies that have until now been suppressed, or discouraged, such as cold fusion, the 200 mpg carburetor, etheric energy, et al, just to protect the technological status quo for our privileged class. New tech development would not only solve the atmospheric carbon problem, but actually increase standards of living around the world, if configured properly: namely, distributed, individually owned power production, and not the centralized “grid” we’re so familiar with now.

As for you “new world order” types who want to exterminate the rest of us because we are overpopulating the planet, you should realize that people with rising standards of living, who have free and ready access to all birth control methods, have no trouble responsibly controlling the size of their families.
So stop worrying about overpopulation, and please stop trying to kill us. Help us instead to become rich, happy and responsible people by taking the lid off new technological development.

You have nothing to fear from happy, strong people.

The entity known by hearsay as, Hillary Clinton, is just another cog in the Satanic juggernaut which is taking over control of the world. The juggernaut is a millennia old agenda. This ancient agenda was first written down, as far as we know, in Babylonia, around 5000 years ago. This written and oral expression of the master agenda is known as the Talmud.

Many years later, another written expression of the master plan for the world surfaced and is known as, The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. According to these two sources, there is an elite which controls everything, now, pretty much; banks, governments, media, pharmaceuticals, and the collection agencies posing as the, CRA, IRS, and whatever the leaches are called in other countries, it matters not; private entities are sucking the people’s life blood through, ‘heavily graduated income taxes,’ the second principle of the Communist Manifesto, a condensed version of the master plan.

Hilary Clinton is just another puppet for the agenda. The issue regarding how she expresses herself is an symptom of how far along the agenda has gone. They don’t care anymore. Everything goes. Morality is out the door. Politicians, who used to be more discreet, can do and say what they want. Before a nation of children, their behaviour is presented as the moral standards of the empire. It is no wonder things are the way they are. It is all by design.

The sad thing about it all is, Jesus spoke very clearly about who and what this is all about in Matthew 23. That was only 2000 years ago, and yet, they who profess to be His followers have not heard the message. He identified your oppressors, and told you, those of you who believe in what He had to say, ‘you have no one above you but God, Who is Your Father in Heaven.’ So, stop bowing down before the Whores of Babylon, of which Hilary Clinton is surely one. If you are a true follower of Jesus Christ, instead of a follower of priests and dubious leaders, it is time to be politically incorrect, as Jesus was. He was not afraid to speak the truth. Remember, the truth will set you free. Presently you are not free. You are slaves, even though you live in fancy houses and drive expensive cars, you own none of it. All your stuff is collateral for the national debts of your countries. Hilary is part of that which is stealing you blind of everything, including your souls.

My advice to the American people: You live in a land which claims to be the home of the brave and land of the free. So, now is your time in history to prove it. Your only hope, and the only hope for the world, at this juncture in the agenda, is to vote for RON PAUL for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. He stands for less government and a distancing from the international banksters who control the world’s money and subsequently control all of us through wage slavery.

Hilary Clinton belongs to an elite of which the Rothchilds belong, as well. In the latter part of the 18th century, Meyer Amschel Bauer Rothchild said, ‘give me control over a people’s money, I care not their governments, I will control those people.’ Well, he does control the people, along with his friends in high places, as clearly spelled out in the Protocols, afore mentioned. So, what we have before us is just the way they planned it. Hilary Clinton is just an other black pawn on their global chessboard.

Now is time for the white knight to come forward. If the people of the United States support their knight with brave and valiant action, we may still become free.

Remember, where there is government, there is no freedom.

    Up the Revolution!

If there isnt something done about the abuse of power both sides participate in, our country will turn into a socialistic debotchery, and we will all work for free. Our country was not founded on the principal of Government having any power over the people. The first problem is stopping the hand out crowd from living off the system. The second issue is legislating reverse discrimination laws to slow down the influx of minorities into goverment positions by way of unbalanced testing. A white male takes a test for advancement and scores a 87, the same minority takes the same test and scores a 75 and gets the promotion because he is awarded 13 additional points for being a minority and gets a final score of 88. The equal opportunity employment act has seperated reality from the work place and imposed an unfair bias in a minorities direction. Stop the minority game, lose that title (entitlement) attitude. I believe the minority populous is still in slavery to the establishment for their entitlements and will sheepishly continue to vote for the side that promises the check to continue.

I’m thinking that if their forces were combined we (might) get the rational best of both of them, although, of course, there is no guarantee of this.

But, then again, when it comes to predicting what any complex system involving human volition will do, there is no absolute guarantee of anything.

No, the word abortion is not in the Bill of Rights, but the *principle* embodied in the Fourth Amendment’s protections against
unreasonable search and seizure logically entail that a person must not be deprived of autonomous control of his/her own body. There is no right more basic than this one, if the concept of rights is to have any real meaning. You would be *denying*, not affirming, the right to life by denying anyone this right.

By the same token, the Second Amendment may not necessarily give you and I a right to “keep and bear arms”, as such, because the complete statement of the article has “well-regulated militia” as the purpose for which the people may exercise the right in question.
I, of course, don’t agree with this last interpretation of Amendment Two. Do I forfeit the right to self-defense, and therefore to life, just because I’m not in a “well-regulated militia”? And, should I, and other innocent people, be deprived of such a basic right as self-defense, because some people – whose actions we are not responsible for – behave criminally with firearms?

The purpose of the Bill of Rights is to *protect individual rights*. And it does this by naming – and more in the Fourth Amendment, for example, than the Second (the Second Amendment being relatively specific) – broad classes of ways in which in which governments may not act.
If the protection of individual rights is the Bill’s purpose, and it is, then the so-called “strict constructionist”, or any other narrow interpretation of the Bill of Rights, are very bad methods of interpretation, because they render the Bill of Rights useless in many specific contexts which may not have been foreseen by the Founders in 1789, and that therefore are not referenced in particular in the document.

As for the notion of “states’ rights”, it was used also to defend slavery.

States do not have rights. Individual human beings do.
Properly understood, the Federal Government, as well as the several states, have administrative “rights” delegated to them by the people (however interpreted), and that are limited by the principle of the rule of law (through the Bill of Rights, mainly), which specifically means that these *administrative* “rights” are limited by the principle of individual, human rights.
It is our collective, and individual, falling away from this understanding that is the general proximate cause of the political mess that we’re in.

Roe v Wade is, of course, not legislation. It is a court case.

In what is supposed to be our much vaunted, but not well understood, system of “checks and balances” we have three principal branches of government: the executive, the legislative and the judicial. Both structurally, as well as functionally, these three branches are supposed to have equal and separate powers meant to check abuses committed by the other two.

You say Roe is “bad law”. I’m not saying that you do necessarily, but things like this are often said by those who do not understand that it is indeed the court system’s role to hear cases brought before it involving the workings of statutory law, and to render decisions regarding the constitutional validity of the laws in question, and to nullify those laws if they do not pass constitutional muster. This is how the courts fulfill their function of being a protection for the people by checking legislative abuses.

A person’s rights are not subject to nullification by a popular vote, any more than they are subject to nullification by a ruling oligarchy, or a monarch. The founders alluded to the inalienability of rights, and this is what “inalienable” means, here. In this regard, legislatures can – and often do – overstep their boundaries. And it is indeed the *primary* job of the court system to undo the damage legislatures do when this happens.

The Roe v Wade result was not a bad one since it affirmed the most inalienable right nameable, i. e., the individual’s right to his/her own body. The result here is what really matters, and if we, the American people were smart, we would make this point loudly and frequently, and insist that all our governments, at all levels, adhere much more consistently to this life-saving principle. Without meaning to complicate the thread here, this would mean – among other things: the abolition of our ludicrous “War on Drugs” (my body, and what I voluntarily put in it, is my own responsibility), removal of the Food and Drug Administration’s enforcement powers (or at least hampering the FDA with strict administrative oversight rules with penalties for corporate conflict-of-interest violations), and stopping a most odious measure that has lately been floated by some advocates of government provided health care: mandatory (forced) physical examinations.

One thing we do have in common, Patrick, is that we support gun rights. Wouldn’t it be great if, when a state legislature passes a gun confiscation statute, the Supreme Court then overturns that statute? Not that they necessarily would rule this way, but technically, they could. And this is a point for you to well consider when contemplating the Supreme Court’s much misunderstood powers.

The reference to slavery was not meant to expand the scope of this thread, just to make the point that a person’s rights may not be voted away by any government, federal, state, or local, or any other individual(s); and by the same token, that any government, federal, state, or local, acts properly when it both can and does nullify any actions taken that violate those rights.

    The “War of Northern Aggression”?
The story has it that the Civil War was prosecuted to abolish slavery. It is good that chattel slavery was ended, but I’ve learned – not so much in my standard education – that other issues were involved as well. It would be an interesting subject to study.

Sorry for the delay in responding Mark, I have been running my butt off lately it seems. 🙂

Roe V Wade was legislating from the bench. That is why I say that it is bad law, and should have been relegated back to the states. The Second Amendment is directly stated as an inalienable right. Unlike your reasoning about Roe V Wade.

The War of Northern Aggression, more commonly known as the Civil War, was actually about States Rights, and the oppression of the Federal Government. If it was about abolishing slavery, then why did the Emancipation Proclamation only free slaves that were in the rebelling states?

Members of my family fought on both sides of that war. A war that I believe was largely unnecessary. The slavery issue was nearly gone due to economic pressures. Do a search on the subject at the Mises Institute for what I believe to be the best studies ever conducted on that aspect of the subject. A link is in my blog roll.

What you’re calling “legislating from the bench” is a misconception, Patrick. This is a criticism of the courts that might have some validity in cases where a court ruling actually constricts individual freedom (the usual effect of legislation), and especially in cases where the constriction in question results without incontrovertible probable or just cause. In Roe v Wade, individual freedom was not constricted, it was expanded. Suddenly – and throughout the country – women had the freedom to have an abortion if they chose to. There was no part of the ruling that had the effect of forcing women to have abortions who did not want to have one. As I pointed out earlier, Roe made good on Fourth Amendment protections of individual privacy where reproduction is concerned. It is not “legislating from the bench” when the courts hear cases, rule on their constitutional validity, and the result is an actual expansion of individual human liberty.

I have the right to life, however I still, nevertheless, may not have someone force you to donate an organ to me in my hour of need. And you do NOT become a “murderer” by refusing to make that donation.
So it is with abortion, contraceptives, drugs, etc; it is not yours, mine, or any institution’s “right” to micromanage anyone’s private sexual or reproductive behavior or choices. Only the initiation of force between individuals – and it should go without saying that “individuals” means THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN BORN – can be properly prohibited. The right to life means nothing without a freedom as basic as this one, and no other particular rights are logically supportable without his one.

Since there is no such thing as the “right” to violate rights, the “states’ rights” argument falls flat, here. No federal, state or local government has the right to forcibly appropriate an individual human being’s body even for an allegedly “noble” purpose, Governments do, in fact, do this sort of thing in a wide variety of contexts, but conscientious advocates of justice are always right to oppose these outrages, and courts are right to overturn them.

As for slavery as an operative cause in the Civil War, slavery (at least of the chattel variety) was already illegal in the northern states.
I’ll go read the Von Mises material, though.

My family, in general, would buy a slave “family.” Then, let them work off what it cost to purchase them, while educating the children, and then emancipate them along with a gift of a home, land, and the wherewithal to succeed.

It was a very different time back then. Judging the people that actually lived in those times by todays standards, is called historical fallacy.

The “states’ rights” argument, if I understand it correctly, essentially refers to the constitutional principle that if anything is not specifically named in the Constitution as a prerogative of the central government, that the policy or legal prerogative devolves to the state level.

It is the fundamental libertarian political principle that the purpose of government is to defend individual rights. If you would elevate “states’ rights” above this, then you have abandoned individual rights. We must require that states “rights”, or governmental rights in general, be subordinated to individual rights, Patrick, or we have mentally surrendered to tyranny, which is really all that is required for us all to lose our freedom in fact, in the real world, no matter how well armed we are.

No, the Fourth Amendment says that we are to be safe from unreasonable searches and seizures. In modern terms this means at the very least, the personal right to privacy. The fourth amendment does not enumerate all of the specific and concrete ways required for the implementation of this principle. But, just the same, either: a) the broad scope of specific rights protected under the Fourth Amendment (even though they are not specifically named) are indeed protected, or b) that the Fourth amendment means essentially nothing, or it means so little as to be useless as the legal bulwark against tyranny that it was properly intended to be.

A right as basic as an individual’s control over his/her body is required in order to make real any Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable search and seizure. Legal or policy statutes affecting that right, therefore, do not necessarily devolve to the state level, nor do they necessarily evolve to the federal level for their resolution. If one’s interpretation of the Fourth Amendment’s protections is a principled one, then a summation of the disputed constitutional principles involved would be: that it is the states’ rights to decide in legal or administrative matters, as long as the requisite actions do not include the violation of the individual’s right against unreasonable search and seizure, or any other protected individual right. So there indeed are state *administrative* rights which are not constitutionally reserved for the federal government, they just don’t include doing away with basic individual rights.

As for the Civil War/War of Northern Aggression, I probably do need a refresher course.

As for the historical fallacy, while it may be true on one level that it is pointless to second guess, if you will, the actions of our ancestors, on another level it remains vitally necessary that we render a rational moral evaluation, just the same. It is this exercise of our critical faculties, in particular, that make human life and progress possible.

No, abortion is an *individual* rights issue. As for governments having “rights”, I could just as easily say that the federal government has “rights”, or that the United Nations, or that G. H. W. Bush’s “New World Order” has “rights”.

It is an *individual* woman who loses her freedom, her health, and in some cases, even her life under regimes where abortion is outlawed. No state has a “right” to do this to anyone, or even to put someone through risks as utterly sacrificial as this. If an alleged “right” can be rationally, or even reasonably, disputed – as the idea of “states’ rights”, or any other “institutional rights” can be – then at the very least, the institutional “right” in question is indeed not incontrovertably a right.

“What of the person in the womans belly?” [sic]
This is what you say is the “real” issue. You can’t be serious about this. Personhood for the conceptus is promoted by the so-called right-to-life movement from the moment of conception, on. A consistent attempt to apply this “definition” of personhood would make slugs and bacteria “persons” also. A conceptus is not a “person”. At the very least, its “personhood” is disputable, whether or not anyone does, in fact, dispute such an absurd notion. What isn’t reasonably disputable are the rights of an individual, who again, by well established general and legal definition is: SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN BORN.

Further, if the “real” issue to you is the personhood of the fetus, then “states’ rights” in this context would not be really that important, would it? ..Unless you would put the authority of states over the “rights of fetuses” also.

As consistently stated by me, I put inalienable rights as the sole legitimate reason for the very existence of government at any level. That is why there are laws, and society rather than anarchy.
Since you seem to equate that concept, inalienable rights, with religion then I suppose that those rights are actually not God given, as stated by the Founders? If that is so, then who I ask, grants those rights? The person, or group of people that are the most effective at warfare?
I reject the Utilitarian concept that the end justifies the means, or that might makes right. So, just where do we go from here?

I think you were confused a bit by my last response, or you did not read it carefully enough. And your response has me a bit confused, but I’ll do my best:

I did not say that you equated human life with bacteria. What I said, essentially, is that the argument that a fertilized zygote has “rights”, if viewed objectively, has just as much merit as arguing for “rights” for bacteria – which is to say, of course, none.

Thomas Jefferson stated in The Declaration of Independence that we are endowed by our Creator with ..inalienable rights. You should remember that Jefferson, as well as a number of others of the founders were deists, which is to say that their views were largely naturalistic (i.e. scientific, rational), even though leavened with religious language. In this philosophical context, the meaning – of the reference to rights in the Declaration – is that rights are *natural* (or God-given, if you prefer), and are thus not subject to arbitrary declaration, or revocation (inalienable).

You said you don’t believe government has any business in the bedrooms of consenting adults.
    I, of course, completely agree.

As for your reference to utilitarianism, I haven’t studied utilitarianism in any depth. But I too, don’t believe that might makes right. Might makes things possible, but *justification* is an entirely separate issue belonging in its entirety to the field of cognition, or reason.

Some other crucial points to consider are:

    1) the set of morally right actions is not equivalent to, or coextensive with, the set of *political* rights.
Which means that it is possible for something to at the same time be morally wrong, yet nevertheless be a political human right. For example, it is not morally right to for one to destroy one’s own body with highly toxic drugs. But, if we’re to have a free society, this action must be recognized – and protected – as the political right that it is.
To say that something is “immoral” should not be automatically construed to mean that it ought to be illegal – a supposition many are wont to make, I’ve observed.

    2) The attribute of an action being a political human right does not make it obligatory, or something that should be enforced. The freedom to NOT exercise a particular right, is also a right.

Other points of clarification require emphasis here, Patrick:

I do not “equate that concept, inalienable rights, with religion”. No, on the contrary, the recognition of inalienable rights was made possible precisely as a result of religion’s loss of power in the West.

Beginning roughly five-hundred-plus years ago, secular ideas, and their resulting general elevation of the human spirit began to banish the demons of the dark ages. The revolution was not – and is still not – complete, but its effects were and are profound. The resulting view of life spread virally. It was a view characterized by a sense, and an eventual recognition, that man is not innately wrong or “sinful”, that we won’t “go to Hell” for thinking for ourselves and questioning authority, and that an earthly, purposeful happiness is possible to us. It was in this general philosophical context that the recognition of human rights first became possible. And it was a result of this, that as time went on, the first truly proud persons in recorded history began progressively to rebel against the rule of kings, which culminated in the American Revolution.

No, it is precisely to the extent that the religious metaphysics was replaced by a more naturalistic and scientific one, that modern values, including reason, self-respect, and then the recognition of, and respect for, individual human political rights, became possible.

A related matter I’d like to highlight here, is that because rights are *recognized*, and not “given” by anyone, including a “higher” power, rights are therefore *natural*, and thus indeed are properly to be regarded as inalienable.

Yes, Patrick, I’d like to see that natural law research paper.

With reference to the original subject of this thread, Hillary Clinton is probably not someone I’d have a problem with on the personal level, and her use of expletives is really no more offensive than my own use of them. My objections raised earlier to previous posters to this thread largely arises from a sense I’ve had from many conservatives of them simply disliking her just because she’s a woman. If you want an objective evaluation of Ms Clinton, her voting record is a telling and immediately relevant piece of evidence. As a professional politician, Hillary Clinton is untrustworthy. All you need to know is one thing: she voted FOR The USA Patriot Act (see: http://www.vote-smart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=55463). However, she voted AGAINST the Military Commissions Act.
So at best, she has a mixed record, but this by definition makes her unreliable as a defender, let alone a restorer of freedom. I’m sure there’s much more to the subject than this, but I digress…

Another matter relevant to our national welfare is our current economic problem. This is manifesting in the sub-prime defaults, and an otherwise most precipitous level of aggregate indebtedness. The basic underlying problem – aside from the political one (e.g. loss of civil liberties) – is access to energy, which is largely the underlying motivation behind our imperialistic foreign interventionism (war), as well. Powerful special interests (corporations) have for too long been able to suppress developments in the alternative and free energy fields. We need to repect intellectual property rights, but we desperately need to reform our patent laws so as to put a stop to this suppression. This, in a nutshell, is the very KEY to solving the economic woes of The United States of America, and also the world.

We will be concerned only with natural law theories of ethics: while such views arguably have some interesting implications for law, politics, and religious morality, these implications will not be our focus here.

This article has two central objectives. First, it aims to identify the defining features of natural law moral theory. Second, it aims to identify some of the main theoretical options that natural law theorists face in formulating a precise view within the constraints set by these defining features and some of the difficulties for each of these options. It will not, however, attempt to recount the history of the development of natural law thought. (For a very helpful detailed history of natural law thought up to the beginning of the modern period, see Crowe 1977. You may have pointed out some other ways in which I differ from Hillary Clinton, and many other politicians as well. I, for example, also advocate the abolition of the income tax. Unlike Rep Ron Paul, however, I advocate replacing it with a national sales tax of say, roughly, 15% to 20%, just in case there are good reasons why we don’t want the central government to lose all of its revenue stream immediately.

As I see it, the sales tax is a regressive tax; something Liberals, myself included, generally don’t like. But you pay a sales tax only when you actually spend money purchasing something, thus saving money is encouraged – something many of us probably should do more (I know I should). Additionally, no IRS goon is going to lay siege to your home over the sales tax. By contrast, the income tax is inherently oppressive. And despite attempts from time to time to make it progressive, it always eventually hurts poor and middle-income people the most. No one should be threatened with a jail sentence for doing nothing more than keeping money they’ve worked for and earned. So while the sales tax is regressive, on the upside, as a replacement for the income tax, it would greatly restore our lost financial privacy, to say nothing of its increasing our liberty, generally.

Codex Alimentarius, and the FDA, must be stopped. The FDA approves dangerous drugs that kill people (Vioxx, anyone?), while attempting to greatly restrict – if not outright ban – vitamins!

And you’re right. An energy thread would be quite long. But one basic thing to grasp about energy is that its cost is one of the main – if not THE main – thing that drives the prices of all commodities and finished goods. If we can obtain access to a limitless and cheap, if not free, source of readily available energy in the form of usable motive power, we can beat the economic recession overtaking us. Patent reform designed to put an end to the suppression of new energy inventions is the principal thing to be done in this field.

Research: cold fusion (I think it works and “they” are keeping it from us.), etheric energy, the 200-mpg carburetor, hydrogen-fuel cells, solar power, and how mass production (of photovoltaic panels) would result in economies of scale, making production cheap! (like what happened to the prices of cars when Henry Ford pioneered the mass-production of cars), etc.. A virtual universe of options in this field…
