Katrina was bad. The government, especialy local government made it worse.

Well Pat, I was there shortly after that happened, and from what I saw a good portion of folks needed their guns took away, if nothing else to see who tey actually belonged too.
The idiots shooting at the folks trying to help caused a lot of issues, but I NEVER heard of a person in or around his home and not firing at helo’s get his weapon confiscated.

Agreed Robert. I was not there. But, many of my EMS Brothers and Sisters were. They never said to me that the people needed to be disarmed. At least the general populace. Heck? They said that they wanted old men and women along for the ‘ride.” With their old and worn out shotguns and deer rifles.
I guess we will just have to disagree on this one Friend.
