This is really a difficult post to categorize… Seems that a group of oldsters went to voice their opinions to the impostor in chief. Then, the Secret Service, apparently detecting a threat to their beloved had the local SWAT TEAM called out because these graying old folks had the audacity of hoping (pun intended) to sing in the “one’s” august presence…
I have to wonder though, having personally known more than a few members of SWAT TEAMS… If the Secret Service would have ordered them into action? I have a deep feeling that the team would have gone after the Feds rather than the Grandmothers…

I think we may be the only ones that feel this way…
I have seen several sites and received several emails that are BLASTING the police for deploying on orders, even though there was NO action taken…
I had one that made an *off-hand* denigration of The Thin Blue Line per se…

As good a place to comment, perhaps the best given the nature of the threads elsewhere.
The folks were clearly polite and responsible whilst still doing a very civic minded thing.
The police officers unlike their chief seem to have maintained a professional posture throughout.
I don’t like how some are playing the SWAT card and definitely don’t like the sniper team angle. Taking actions everyone knows goes into effect with a POTUS visit and trying to say they are solely aimed at the protesters is insane.
On the flip side I equally dislike the leftside snippets about the Tea Party folks being punks, uncommitted or on the other extreme disrespectful and hypocritical. WTF is that ? Are they just jealous that after things like G8 and WTO democracy took a hit? They caused it!
Thanks for sharing this Pat

Well Merry my darling? I would agree, if the implications were not so darned serious.

It should be clear by now that resistance to the policies of “The Great One” are not to be tolerated.
This is indicative of the downright unease (and even fear) that all dictators have of their subjects – generated by the guilt that they bear for knowing (if even subconsciously) that they are committing wrongs against those that they have taken an oath to serve.
