Why does the Taxed Enough Already Libertarian come out in me when I hear Republicans talk like responsible people? 1994 and the Contract with America maybe? Anti- Constitution Republicans maybe? Republicans In Name only like John McCain maybe..?
House Republican leaders will unveil a 21-page “Pledge to America” on Thursday that presents a “governing agenda” for what Republicans would do if they win control of Congress in November.
CNN obtained a copy of the document Wednesday.
The plan focuses primarily on jobs and the economy, with a short reference in the “preamble” to the party’s position on social issues.
Can Republicans, based upon their history, be trusted with the reins of government? Would you trust an active crack whore with your safety and well being? That’s precisely what Republicans act like once they get into power.
The alternative though?

We are hearing all this *Pledge to America* BS from the GOP….
Here’s a pledge:
1. America 1st
2. NO MORE RINOs
3. No more TAX and SPEND Dems
4. Take care of needy Americans, not other nations
5. Help OUR homeless and jobless, not Europe and Africa’s
6. Adopt OUR orphan children, NOT other nations
7. Protect OUR borders
8. Round up and deport ALL Illegals
9. Outlaw Islam in America
10. If you can’t understand this, see #1 and LEAVE this nation, you are a MORON

Perhaps some members of the GOP are trying, but the sorting-out process is going to take some close evaluation.

The Pledge To America is a starting point. Of course it’s not the be all and end all, but guess what. If we got that agenda through and dealt with the most egregious of the economic issues that Congress has implemented then we are stemming the tide and can plan from there. Perfect never comes. Take what you know you can get, convert more people and then take the next steps.
