Obamination: Just doing his job? Or was this sincere?

October 6, 2010

The post World War Two Democrats have been exceedingly disdainful of the United States Military. Yet, this impostor in chief that we have now did give what appeared to be a moving, and thoughtful dissertation with regards to a war that is in all of our faces. Yet appears to be among his greatest failures.

Was all this real? Or, yet again, simply politics.

Simply based upon my childhood background I was exposed to several Men that had earned the Medal of Honor. Merry, who sometimes deems it worthy to post here had one such man living next to her as she grew up. I myself had three such extraordinary people involved in my daily life. Such is the life of a Marine Corps brat…

Let me tell you something about such Men. They never brag, and in fact, attribute any thing that they may have done to a love for their fellows. They are, one and all, unassuming. They simply believe that they did what they did because it had to be done. To quote one Man, “Nobody else could fight, so I had too.”

The BHO, I think, is simply capitalizing on what happened.

Where as; People such as Myself, Merry, Maine, Fred, and so many others? Simply hold such Men in the highest level of respect, honor, and as templates for those that will follow. Audie Murphy would be proud of what this very young man did. Gads, a Special Forces Team Member at that age..? He had to be good! Back in the day? It took a few more years, rank notwithstanding, to make it onto an A-Team. This young Man, was an American Warrior, the real deal.

Gads… I simply do not trust this man…

Some good news for a change..?

May 30, 2009

Yes, most folks are all taken up with the news of the day. Arlen Specter involved in a murder investigation. A sexist racist being installed in the Supreme Court. An ugly as hell woman with the voice of an angel losing a damned popularity contest. We have people that are standing up for the ethical use of firearms catching some hell. Not to mention, that this past weekend I won the Chili Cook Off! Ok, there were only three entrants… But, I won! No, that is not the good news that I refer to in the title of this post.

Seems that the Pakistani Army is solidly kicking some terrorist butt! That’s something that few organized Army’s have ever accomplished. Rangers did it to the Lefts Godhead, and it’s happened a few times before. I will address the things that factor into such victories at a later time.

In the mean time?

Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2008

Merry Christmas to one and all! Enjoy yourselves; feast; drink, and be merry!

Others are not doing nearly so well, and I hope and pray that at some point in the festivities one and all thinks back about those people.

Think about the Soldiers, Marines, Coast guardsmen, and Air Force, and Navy people. Men, and women, that stand guard while we sleep in relative comfort. Think about those that have been imprisoned for doing so; Compean and Ramos come to my immediate mind, and, they are not the only ones.

Think about the Paramedics, the Firefighters, and the Police personnel that are standing duty away from their homes and families so that you can be safe.

Alright, that was pretty general and would suffice in a general way. At least for most people.

I am not an ordinary sort of person though. Yes, I have a special place in my heart. Although I sit in the middle of Al Gore’s promise of global warming, with a local high temperature of something in the low to mid teens I still have something deep inside to  people that are, in fact, always on my mind.

  • Saint Anthony Hospital Paramedics.
  • Broomfield Paramedic’s and EMT’s.
  • North Metro Firefighters (not firemen!)
  • Commerce City, Colorado Police.
  • Northglenn Ambulance Alumni.
  • Arvada, Colorado Jaycee’s.
  • Clear Creek County Ambulance.

Then, there are those that are, for whatever reason are more than special in my heart.

  • Those that go into harms way from the Fifth Special Forces Group; You know who you are, and why I think of you.
  • The ” Tiger Teams” of Seventh Special Forces; You also know who you are, and why.
  • Rangers, all of you. But especially two Mike’s, and a John, from Third Rangers. You know why guys. OOORAH! AIRBORNE!
  • Second Marine Division.
  • First Marine Division. (5th, my father died wearing your colors in Korea. Special thanks to you Men. Carry on…)
  • The Coast Guard along the entire western coast of the United States. I was auxiliary based out of Oceanside. Would that I could have been one of you!

The message?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

God Bless each and every one of you!

My name is Patrick Dennis Sperry. I love all of you, and, I stand with, in front of, or behind you as the need demands.
