Bloomberg Felon exposed yet again!

June 10, 2014

On “Meet the Press” earlier this month, Michael Bloomberg claimed that what he is doing “is nothing about gun control.” But host David Gregory, acting as a cheerleader, not a probing questioner, let that statement go unchallenged. Unfortunately, Bloomberg is used to overwhelmingly uncritical media coverage.

Bloomberg, who is currently spending $50 million per year on his various gun control organizations, has pushed for everything from assault weapon bans, magazine size limits, gun-free zones, fees on people buying ammunition or guns, and a long list of other regulations.  He now wants to convince us that he is very reasonable.

Unfortunately, Bloomberg is the worst type of gun control true-believer: the type who believes his goals justify making up facts.

SAY NO too Bloombergs Wyoming schemes!

April 28, 2014

It’s been a unusually busy time of year.

In fact, since I’ve been in this fight, this is the very first time it’s been so hectic on the flip side of the short 20 day legislative session.

And regrettably, we have our work cut out for us.

The truth is some folks believe that here in Wyoming, we remain sheltered from big city gun grabbers like billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

And it may be for this very reason that the gun control crowd has launched an all out assault in Wyoming.

Of course this is why we’ve been working so hard to reach hundreds of gun owners.

Please know that fruits of generous donors like you, is that, literally hundreds of Wyoming residents are receiving a “call to action” delivered to their postal mail box.

This action alert by WyGO is being mailed to inform them about — state “Republican” leadership pushing enhanced background checks — into an interim committee meeting in Rawlins WY in just a couple of weeks.

Of course we know the lay of the land, because this underhanded “play” has surfaced in several state legislatures.

And wouldn’t you know, much of it has been traced back to Bloomberg, along with his well funded gun control cronies all across the country.

Their plan is to, slip-in “King Henry the 8th” style laws, which will give carte blanche authority to Wyoming’s top law enforcement agency, who will then be able to share gun owner data to federal agencies.

Dangerously, once something like this goes into place, then the D.C. gun grabbers only need to pass a simple bill to tie it all together.

I hate to think what someone like Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, would do with a “secret list” of gun owners.

It gets worse. Even if a seemingly innocuous bill makes it out of committee in Rawlins, the anti-gun politicians in Cheyenne will sneak-in freedom robbing amendments into the bill at the next general session in 2015.

So here’s how the dirty scheme could play out:

*** Get the ‘ball’ rolling now, by pushing a bill draft that will remain hidden from public eyes;

*** Then, squeak by in the upcoming elections;

*** And for the kill, push the gun control envelope during the upcoming general session.

This is why this must be stopped all together!

And just who quietly placed this Universal Background Check scheme into the upcoming interim committee?

No other than the shadow government agency in Cheyenne called the “Management Council” — led by Republican leadership, Speaker of the House Tom Lubnau, and President of the Senate Tony Ross.

This is really an all-out FIGHT!

So please forward this email to every freedom loving friend and family member in Wyoming immediately!

Also urge them to sign up for our email alerts, so they too can get all the details about this attack on gun owners, as soon as it’s available.

Over the next coming days I will continue to coordinate WyGO’s aggressive postal-mailings — mostly to folks that may have never heard of our organization.

Bloomberg’s promise to spend $50 Million on state legislatures is a somber reality, and though WyGO is currently mailing several hundred homes — the goal to reach 20,000 Second Amendment supporters in Wyoming is a costly endeavor.

Please consider becoming a outreach-sponsor by contributing $50, $25, or even just $5 to help cover the costs of the envelopes, paper and postage.

Without your generous support, I truly shudder to think about what you and I could be facing. We simply have to turn up the heat on the Wyoming Lawmakers like never before.

In addition to helping out with whatever you can afford, please pass this alert on to your Pro-Freedom friends and point them to our — “Stop Bloomberg in Wyoming Petition” — by clicking on the banner below.

Thank you in advance for your dedication to defending the Second Amendment in Wyoming.

    To Liberty,

    Anthony Bouchard

P.S. With billionaire Michael Bloomberg now spending $50 million to push — state level gun control — that includes “enhanced background check” legislation — gun owners are now facing a serious assault by the politicians in Cheyenne.

It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.

Mayor Bloomberg, try Sensible Gun Control.
In 1865 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States .
In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States who later died from the wound.
In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy, President of the United States .
In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the United States .
In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan, President of the United States .
In 1984 James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.
In 1986 Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post office.
In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.
In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby’s cafeteria in Killeen , TX .
In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.
In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service.
In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US .
In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.
In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung – Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.
In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.
In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis .
In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school in Newtown , CT.
As recently as Sept 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship yard.
Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.
Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings and murders.

Bloomberg Launches $350K Campaign Against Senator who Voted Against Universal Background Checks

May 28, 2013

New York Michael Bloomberg exemplifies everything that is wrong with modern politics. I don’t mean to sound bitter or to wage some kind of irrational mudslinging campaign; I mean it in the most literal sense. He is everything that is rotten about politics in America.

No longer content with disarming the law-abiding in his own crime-riddled island wasteland, Bloomberg has set his sights on a much grander and far-reaching goal: disarming the American populace…. Because it has worked so well for the good citizens of New York, D.C., Chicago, Newark and South Central L.A.

Bloomberg spends his days and nights looking to invoke his will on the people and punish those that resist. Some might call it fascism, but when it’s a lefty doing it, all is forgiven.

Bloomberg and his stormtroopers, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, have begun a pricey $350,000 ad campaign to target Arkansas Democrat Senator Mark Pryor who is up for re-election next year. His crime? He had the audacity to vote against the unconstitutional universal background check bill.

Bloomberg follies Redux

October 30, 2010

In District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), the Supreme Court indicated that a limited number of gun control restrictions are permissible under the Second Amendment — provisions such as “prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms.” In McDonald v. Chicago (2010), the Court said that its Heller ruling applied not just to Congress and federal enclaves, such as Washington, D.C., but nationwide as well.

Nevertheless, earlier this year, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and his police commissioner, Ray Kelly, proposed new regulations designed to give the NYPD the power to deny a firearm license to anyone, for reasons that most Americans would consider not nearly serious enough to warrant the suppression of a fundamental individual right.

These reasons — grouped under the heading “lack of good moral character or other good cause” — include an applicant’s “poor driving history,” termination from employment due to “lack of good judgment or lack of good moral character,” failure to pay debts, or having ever been arrested for anything more serious than a traffic offense, even if no charges had been filed, charges had been dropped, or the applicant had been found not guilty in court. For individuals whose license applications cannot be denied for those reasons, the proposal would also allow the police to deny a license to anyone about whom “information demonstrates an unwillingness to abide by the law [or] a lack of candor toward lawful authorities,” or when there is “other good cause.”

Insulting the intelligence of anyone who can read the proposal, the mayor and commissioner announced it in a press release which focused on how their plan would streamline the gun license application process and reduce license fees — all of which will be meaningless to people whose license applications will be denied. Only in the next to last paragraph did the release note that “NYPD will add to its regulations to offer more detailed examples of eligibility standards for a permit,” without giving examples of what those “examples” might be.

With the public comment period on the proposed regulations having ended in mid-September, and city bureaucrats working out the new regulations’ final language, on October 19th Bloomberg appeared on CNN’s “American Morning” program, saying that it is the NRA that is “totally unreasonable.”

Bloomberg’s statement is absurd; probably the kind of thing the NYPD should take into account, if he ever applies for a license to possess a gun.

Bloomberg Follies: More of the same from the felon Bloomberg

April 25, 2010

The Straw Purchase Felon Michael Bloomberg is back at it spreading lies again. Read on…

This week, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control advocacy group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), began running television ads urging Congress to “close the gun show loophole.”  Page 34 of MAIG’s Blueprint for Federal Action on guns says that the group supports H.R. 2324 and S. 843 — bills that would require NICS checks on private sales of firearms at gun shows, and which also contain provisions designed to drive gun shows out of business.

MAIG’s ads claim “The Columbine school massacre … killers got their guns because of a gap in the law, called the ‘gun show loophole.'”  And in a related press release, MAIG claims “All four guns used in the Columbine shootings were bought from private sellers at gun shows.”

The claims are lies, of course.  For starters, one of the Columbine criminals’ four firearms was not acquired at a gun show.  More to the point, however, the other three firearms, while bought at a gun show, were bought for the criminals by a straw purchaser — a woman who was not prohibited from possessing or acquiring firearms, and who therefore would have passed a NICS check, if she had bought the firearms from a licensed dealer.

International effort to destroy the Second Amendment

March 7, 2010

Hat tip to Military.com for posting this. I had found it some time ago, and when I went to blog about it, it had vanished. This video lays out just how much hatred for liberty and freedom people like George Soros (international felon) and Michael Bloomberg (straw purchase felon) have for America, as well as many others throughout the world. Further, if you think that they will stop with the Second Amendment, you are either terminally ignorant, or you are one of them.

Hoplophobia, there is a cure, seek help.

FAUX POLLS: Bloomberg strikes out against Gun Owners yet again!

February 20, 2010

Every since back in college during a Poly Sci class we were shown how to skew polls I have not been a big believer in them. Unless of course, it is something along the lines of obamacare with huge demonstrations by grass root people responding to some action that they are just plain dead set against. Well, the straw sale felon of New York City is getting his comeuppance…

On Dec. 11, 2009, we noted that a poll paid for by anti-gun politician-activist Michael Bloomberg, claiming to show that NRA members support gun control, was conducted by a pollster who has been reprimanded and censured by two professional polling organizations, and who (of course) doesn’t have access to NRA’s confidential member list.

Since then, gun control supporters have cited the poll in numerous newspaper editorials, opinion columns, and letters to editors, all attacking NRA’s opposition to gun control. Recently, however, Bloomberg’s pollster, Frank Luntz, admitted how he gets polls to turn out the way his employers want. In a “Penn and Teller” interview posted on YouTube, Luntz says, “The key in survey research is to ask questions that people care about the answers [sic], and to ask the question in a way that you get the right answer.” He added, “[W]ith just a single change of wording, you’ll get a very different reaction in terms of how they think and how they feel.”

Thanks, Frank, for making it easier for us to write letters to newspapers pointing out why no one should take your “poll of NRA members” seriously.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg: What A Waste of Air

January 16, 2010

The Felon Mayor of New York just can’t get enough of poking his nose into everyone else’s business. The utter failure of “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” is only one example of his warped sense of reality. He knows better then you do what is good for you, yours, and and all of humanity… Yeah right..!

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg envisions a healthy world — one with no cigarettes, trans-fat, or guns — and he is going to make you healthy, doggone it, whether you like it or not.

As the mayor begins his third term (which, to those familiar with New York City term limits, is a whole other matter), he has found yet another menace to his utopia: salt. As with his other nanny state goals, the mayor’s vision goes far beyond his own backyard to cities and states across the nation.

His administration’s new salt initiative calls for food manufacturers and restaurants across the country to cut their salt content by 25 percent over the next five years. They claim that national cooperation is necessary due to interstate sales. For now, participation of New York businesses is voluntary, but this means little to those of us familiar with the war on trans-fat. That was originally voluntary too, but when restaurants didn’t jump on the bandwagon, the city government legislated them into submission.

While the benefits of lowering salt have been well documented in the fight against high blood pressure, not everyone is convinced of the benefits of across-the-board sodium reduction. There has been no large-scale study of the negative effects of cutting salt, and several medical researchers point out that there are too many variables to assume that this measure is good for everyone. Dr. Michael H. Alderman of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, likened the plan to “an uncontrolled experiment with the public’s health.”

Several companies, including Campbell (which has already cut sodium in their products without government strong-arming), will not be joining the plan. They prefer to adjust their recipes according to what the market calls for — at least while they still have a choice.

“It’s not what you say, it’s what people hear.”

December 12, 2009

The latest from the felon Bloomberg reveals just what lengths idiots such as he, and others like Lautenberg, Schumer, and the usual gang of suspects will go to with the express goal of depriving you of life and liberty through the destruction of the Bill of Rights.

This week, anti-gun New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, released the findings of a poll conducted by a political consulting firm called “The Word Doctors,” whose slogan is “It’s not what you say, it’s what people hear.”  Word Doctors’ president is a pollster who has been reprimanded by the American Association for Public Opinion Research and censured by the National Council on Public Polls, and who says that the key to polling is “to ask a question in the way that you get the right answer.”

At some other time in our nation’s history, an organization like this would not have been commissioned to conduct a poll, and perhaps it would not even have existed. At a minimum, its poll would have been considered biased and rejected by every newspaper in the country.

But today, as the distinction between editorials and news has become blurred, information is treated so superficially that a catchy word or two is enough to get someone elected to public office, and some in positions of authority cannot conceive of the concept of shame.

Thus, earlier this week, Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne and Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) excitedly called attention to the bought-and-paid-for Word Doctors “poll,” which claimed that a majority of NRA members and other gun owners support Lautenberg’s bills to prohibit the possession of firearms by people placed (often mistakenly) on the FBI terrorist watchlist (S.1317), to require gun show promoters to send ledgers of customer information to the federal government (S.843), and to let the FBI retain records for 180 days of every gun purchase approved by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)  (S.2820).  The poll also claimed support for Bloomberg’s proposal to rescind the Tiahrt Amendment, which prevents unfettered release of BATFE firearm trace data.  (Bloomberg, of course, wants to use the data in lawsuits against the firearms industry.)

But did the poll really show such strong support?  Certainly the participants didn’t have much information to go on.  The poll didn’t explain that the watchlist has been under fire by the Department of Justice’s Inspector General’s office and the ACLU for improperly including the names of innocent people, and that many innocent people have been mistaken for those who are on the watchlist. It didn’t explain that Lautenberg’s gun show bill would do much more than require NICS checks on private gun sales at gun shows.

The poll mischaracterized the issue of NICS record retention. Instead of informing poll participants that the accused Ft. Hood murderer had been investigated by the FBI and found to not constitute a terror threat months before he went through a NICS check to purchase the gun he allegedly used in the murders, the poll simply asked whether “the FBI should be able to access and keep information about gun purchases by terror suspects in cases similar to [the accused Ft. Hood killer’s]?” Worse, Word Doctors misinformed poll participants by telling them that the accused killer was still under investigation at the time he purchased the gun.

The poll also asked if participants agreed that “The federal government should not restrict the police’s ability to access, use, and share data that helps them enforce federal, state and local gun laws,” when in fact the Tiahrt Amendment fully allows access to trace information, as long as it’s related to crimes that they’re actually investigating.

And the poll also claimed that a majority of gun owners want to “balance” their rights against the need to stop criminals from getting guns. But what it actually asked was whether gun owners agreed that “We can do more to stop criminals from getting guns while also protecting the rights of citizens to freely own them.” Coupled with the poll’s findings that an overwhelming majority of gun owners believe “Criminals . . . should be punished to the maximum extent of the law” and “Law-abiding Americans should have the freedom to choose how to protect themselves, based on their personal situation,” it’s fair to conclude that gun owners understand the two concepts aren’t mutually exclusive.  Since the ideas are compatible, they don’t require a “balance,” as suggested by gun control supporters.

Notably, Lautenberg mentioned none of the poll’s findings that undercut the anti-gun agenda, and Dionne mentioned few. These include findings that an overwhelming majority of gun owners:

  • Thinks President Obama will try to ban guns;
  • Agrees that the Supreme Court’s decision in last year’s Heller case was correct;
  • Agrees that the Second Amendment should prevent all levels of government from infringing the right to arms;
  • Agrees that people should be allowed to carry guns for protection in national parks;
  • Agrees that people should be allowed to transport firearms in baggage on Amtrak trains;
  • Agrees that gun laws should be less strict or left as they are; and
  • Opposes or is neutral about gun registration and an “assault weapon” ban.

One final note: Since Word Doctors had no access to NRA membership lists, there’s no way the pollsters could verify that any of the “NRA members” actually were NRA members.  While this is a fatal flaw, we mention it at the end only because the poll’s other flaws were even worse.
