Hey Buffalo Bill…

Buffalo Bill Cody is probably turning over in his grave!

Tomorrow (Jan 6) in Cody WY the school board is having what they call a ‘special meeting’ that includes both school board members and state legislators about…guns in schools.

This meeting is so ‘special’ – that they decided the meeting shouldn’t be advertised to the public.

The truth is, they don’t want you to know!

You see, Park county’s anti-gun school superintendent Ray Schulte is working hard to ensure law abiding Citizens like YOU are NEVER allowed to exercise the God-given right to self defense.

And just what is Schulte pushing?

He is in support of legislation strikingly similar to Senator Hank Coe’s substitute bill that effectively derailed the repeal of gun free zones in Wyoming.

And this isn’t the first time superintendent Schulte has been on the wrong side of your right to keep and bear arms. The more that you see him in action, the more you realize he is aligned with Joe Biden, the author of gun free zone legislation.

Here’s the low down…

Schulte in his capacity as superintendent of schools in Torrington Wy —-> testified against repealing gun free zones in a Wyoming Senate committee in 2012.

It was at this moment we discovered that superintendent Schulte doesn’t even trust the citizens who submit to a full background check.

Schulte stated in open committee, “I spoke with our police chief and he told me there over two thousand permit holders right here in out district, can you imagine all of them being in the school at the same time?”

It was shortly after, that the Goshen School board had enough of Schulte…

In June of 2012 the school board voted against Schulte and one board member even stated publicly that, “the superintendent wasn’t doing a good job” and “his salary was too high.”

The Torrington headline actually read, “District Superintendent Ray Schulte does not have the full support of the Goshen County School Board.”

Sadly by the following year, the folks in Cody took him in as their new school superintendent, at an even higher salary of $150,000 a year.

It should be noted that instead of inviting the public to a meeting where the only agenda is about guns, Schulte invited several neighboring district board members – Now you know why it’s called a “special meeting.”

HB-114 Repeal Gun Free Zones now has two Senate bill sponsors! Your immediate action is needed.

I have great news from the Capitol, the Repeal Gun Free Zones Act now has two sponsors in the Wyoming Senate.

And after visiting with both of them, I can tell you they are committed to defending your right to bear arms.

Senator Curt Meier (R-Goshen/Niobrara/Weston) is the the primary Senate sponsor, and Senator Cale Case (R-Freemont) is the lead co-sponsor for this much needed legislation to restore gun rights in Wyoming.

HB-114 is on Sen. Meier’s desk as we speak, making it very easy for your State Senator to just walk over and cosponsor.

This bill (HB-114) passed the Wyoming House 42-17 without any amendments.

And now the anti-gun lobby is cranking up the pressure on the Senate — demanding that they not advance this bill.

As we witnessed in the House, the lobbyists have a stack of poisonous amendments ready to file in the Senate.

If the gun control crowd is successful, HB-114 will die a death by a thousand cuts in the Senate.

WYOMING FREEDOM ALERT! More fakery by the forces of despotisim!

The establishment is now plotting a scheme to force Wyoming Gun Owners to disclose its members publicly.

They now want to conveniently punish all “non-offending” groups because of the actions of a slimy shadowy group that spent thousands of dollars to make sure “the Anti-Gun” politicians were elected to office, as well as an all out attempt — to remove two Pro-Gun Champions, Representative(s) Allen Jaggi and Kendell Kroeker from office.

This “fake” group calling themselves the Wyoming Freedom Riders was formed in June of this year.

Revealing the posers they really are, they covertly used a provision under Wyoming law to secretly register their group using a paid organizer — thereby skirting accountability.

Nobody knows who the Wyoming Freedom Riders are, or where their money is coming from.

It may have even come from Bloomberg himself —  flooding several district with bogus mailings.

And we have confirmed that Gun-Grabber Senator John Hastert (D-Green River), also the President of the Anti-Gun AFL-CIO, recruited  a so-called “Republican” to run against Pro-Gun Representative Allen Jaggi.

And of course, there is Absolutely No Outcry from the establishment on this: The fact that Rep Jaggi’s district was the first blanketed with outlandish tales of how bad Wyoming’s Pro-Gun Champion was for Wyoming.

The AFL-CIO is well known for these kind of campaign tactics, so Hastert’s actions should’t be accepted as some kind of coincidence.

It has been estimated that the Shadowy Group spent $30,000 or more in the recent primary elections.

And they may be doing it all over again during the coming general elections in November.

So the picture is clear, it is an — establishment politician nonprofit  — coordinating with the same bad politicians during the elections.

And to make certain their operation remained covert — the fake group’s mailings were “sent in” by no other than an out-of-state mail-house.

These were professional , oversize, full-color printings — the kind you usually see in big campaigns where lots of money is being dropped.

All by a non-profit that was secretly organized, and had absolutely NO public fund-raising.

Is it starting to smell fishy yet?

And to divert the attention away from the establishment hacks, they will run a “False Flag” to — turn their follies around — for their own selfish cause.

Instead of requiring the “shadowing group” to come clean, they have other political aspirations…

As I am writing this, Capitol insiders tell me that now a number of politicians (who don’t vote with us anyway) want to pass legislation that would force all nonprofits, including Wyoming Gun Owners, to disclose all of its members.

How convenient! This is identical to Obama’s IRS puppet — forcing conservative non-profits to disclose their membership!

The gun grabbing politicians simply want their cake, and they want to eat it too.

WyGO will be on the front lines defending our members from this gun-owner registration scheme.

Even if it comes to reorganizing WyGO in a private-business model.

As soon as I have all the bad guys in the line-up, you’ll be the first to know.

And now with the larger, well known, National Gun Organization actually endorsing the same candidates that the fake group was supporting — it’s so telling of just how serious this problem has become in Wyoming.

Wyoming politics has been forever changed for the worse.

And that’s why we’re taking this fight so seriously.

These are similar tactics used to take over states like Colorado.

We must STAND in their way!

Our long-term plan is to meet them head-on.

I can’t give you the details right now, and quite frankly,  I don’t want the bad actors to know what we’re doing.

TRUE COLORS; THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION AGAIN STABS MEMBERS IN THE BACK!

Wow! What a way to start a week, snow clogging up I-80 delaying travel to the interim committee meeting in Rawlins.Just getting to the pavement from my snow drift covered gravel road became an obstacle.

Fortunately by 4:30 pm Monday I was on the road to Rawlins for the meeting that was rescheduled for Tuesday.

And here’s the Good News. Yesterday you WON in a serious gun control skirmish…

As opposition was building in the committee room — I watched as the Interim Committee Chairman tabled Enhanced Background Checks, otherwise called FixNICS.

This ONLY happened because of one simple reason.

Without informed gun owners like you, the lobbyists and lawmakers that push for gun control may have ‘had their way’ in Rawlins.

Of course this dangerous legislation originally introduced by Senator Fred Emerich — may likely re-emerge during the next general session.

Here’s what happened in Rawlins Tuesday May 13th:

As I have been telling you all along, the Newtown Connecticut based National Sports Shooting Foundation (NSSF) is pushing Michael Bloomberg’s Gun Registration scheme here in Wyoming.

Dave Picard, a Wyoming based “lobbyist for hire”, testified on how badly this legislation was needed — and that with it the National Instant Check System (NICS) & previous federal gun control acts could be finally fixed.

And guess who was ‘flown in’ special for the gun control party?

No other than the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) own lobbyist, Dakota Moore.

But the NRA was not here in Wyoming to testify against gun control.

Instead just the opposite — the NRA sat at the table with Dave Picard — and in FULL SUPPORT of “Enhancing Background Checks”.

The bill draft in question is 2014-SF111, which in the NSSF’s own words, “SF111 was our FixNICS legislation”.

I truly hate being the bearer of such bad news, but I have witnessed firsthand on several occasions — just how the NRA underhandedly works with Gun-Grabbers.

This is how the NRA rolls:

Let’s start with Wyoming Republican Sen. Fred Emerich who was handed an “A Rating” by the NRA in 2010. Please note that during the same time frame, Emerich REFUSED to answer WyGO’s gun rights survey.

Then after being elected and safely in the seat of power and during Senator Emerich’s first term in 2011, he voted against WyGO’s flagship legislation restoring the rights of Wyomingites to carry concealed without a permit.

During the entire 2011 legislative session Senator Emerich’s intentions were clear — whether as a committee member, or on the floor, Emerich voted with the gun control crowd every single time.

The fact that the NRA is now pushing a bill with Gun Grabber Fred Emerich is sooooo telling.

As I have stated in previous alerts – the NSSF’s ‘FixNIX.org’ website is strikingly similar to Bloomberg’s ‘Everytown.org’ gun-control website.

Well, at least there’s one thing the NRA lobbyist gets right…

From the very founding of WyGO I have held that as Wyoming’s premier gun rights organization, we will NOT compromise, we will NOT accept breadcrumbs, and we will NOT get on our knees and kiss anyone’s boots.

No gun control petition: WYOMING Say no to Bloomberg as well as his minions!

Are your gun rights safe from lawmakers in Cheyenne?

The answer is NO.

Billionaire playboy ex-New York City Michael Bloomberg has set his sights on passing gun control in state legislatures across the country.

Bloomberg’s sinister group, Mayors Against Guns recently targeting Colorado and New Mexico, and I’m afraid Wyoming is next.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is the latest anti-gun scheme the gun-grabbers will push in Wyoming — because it’s already happening.

The Wyoming Legislature’s Interim Judiciary Committee could meet in as early as four weeks and the gun control crowd in the Capitol placed “background check reform” as a top priority!

And this was all Bloomberg’s staff and his deep pockets needed to start working to RAM through so-called “universal” or “expanded background checks in Wyoming.”

With this issue coming up before a state Legislative Committee, and Bloomberg’s Executive Director for Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Mark Glaze, telling reporters that passing new anti-gun restrictions here in Wyoming “would not be that hard!”

This is an all-out EMERGENCY.

SAY NO too Bloombergs Wyoming schemes!

It’s been a unusually busy time of year.

In fact, since I’ve been in this fight, this is the very first time it’s been so hectic on the flip side of the short 20 day legislative session.

And regrettably, we have our work cut out for us.

The truth is some folks believe that here in Wyoming, we remain sheltered from big city gun grabbers like billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

And it may be for this very reason that the gun control crowd has launched an all out assault in Wyoming.

Of course this is why we’ve been working so hard to reach hundreds of gun owners.

Please know that fruits of generous donors like you, is that, literally hundreds of Wyoming residents are receiving a “call to action” delivered to their postal mail box.

This action alert by WyGO is being mailed to inform them about — state “Republican” leadership pushing enhanced background checks — into an interim committee meeting in Rawlins WY in just a couple of weeks.

Of course we know the lay of the land, because this underhanded “play” has surfaced in several state legislatures.

And wouldn’t you know, much of it has been traced back to Bloomberg, along with his well funded gun control cronies all across the country.

Their plan is to, slip-in “King Henry the 8th” style laws, which will give carte blanche authority to Wyoming’s top law enforcement agency, who will then be able to share gun owner data to federal agencies.

Dangerously, once something like this goes into place, then the D.C. gun grabbers only need to pass a simple bill to tie it all together.

I hate to think what someone like Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, would do with a “secret list” of gun owners.

It gets worse. Even if a seemingly innocuous bill makes it out of committee in Rawlins, the anti-gun politicians in Cheyenne will sneak-in freedom robbing amendments into the bill at the next general session in 2015.

So here’s how the dirty scheme could play out:

*** Get the ‘ball’ rolling now, by pushing a bill draft that will remain hidden from public eyes;

*** Then, squeak by in the upcoming elections;

*** And for the kill, push the gun control envelope during the upcoming general session.

This is why this must be stopped all together!

And just who quietly placed this Universal Background Check scheme into the upcoming interim committee?

No other than the shadow government agency in Cheyenne called the “Management Council” — led by Republican leadership, Speaker of the House Tom Lubnau, and President of the Senate Tony Ross.

This is really an all-out FIGHT!

So please forward this email to every freedom loving friend and family member in Wyoming immediately!

The war on freedom is hitting much closer to home, Platte County Wyoming to be exact.

Like you, I am outraged at the actions of President Obama, Harry Reid and Dianne Feinstein‘s attempt to repeal the Second Amendment.

And just as in Washington D.C. — the control freaks are at work right here in Wyoming.

Remember during the last session when state “educators” stormed the capitol in Cheyenne — demanding that our pro-gun legislation was killed in committee?

Well now they are scheming at the “local” level to rob you and me of our God-given rights.

The Platte County School Board and its “Republican Majority” are using “truancy” as a way to strip away constitutionally protected rights.

9 year old was put<br /> on probationIn Wheatland, WY this 9 year old boy was placed on probation for missing 19 days of school — even though his mother had approved the absent days (sick days and family emergencies) with the school.

Under the probation orders — minor children may not “own” any firearms — and must agree to random urine analysis.

But the state statute reveals this is a misdemeanor and the parents could receive 10 days in jail and/or a $25 fine.

But as if using the same playbook of the Obama administration — the “local control” freaks made truancy their latest crisis, so they could now violate citizen’s rights.

All involved have Ignored current law — since one must first be convicted of a “felony” in order to strip rights to possess firearms.

Of course this is how the anti-gun crowd rolls — all the players are in unison with every step maneuvering to crush civil liberties.

To drive their point (control) home, the bad actors will even railroad unsuspecting young children through a system that begins with an overzealous prosecutor, and ends with a heavy handed judge.

But let’s not forget, it all started with the Platte county school board’s policy…”Turn them over to the authorities” they say.

The “elected school board” should be ashamed of themselves — so far not one single school board member has lifted a finger to stop this egregious trampling of parental rights.

If fact, there are a dozen other families lined up to face the same judicial force.

It seems that in the eyes of the Platte County School Board nothing else matters, not even breathing tubes and stays in critical care that this family has recently endured.

Just as maddening are the “Lawyers” that claim we must remain silent because these children are now “in the judicial system”.

This is the same way the “control-program” rolls in many others states — by treating rights including the Second Amendment with outright contempt.

But we will not be silenced…

Last week I personally attended the school board meeting and witnessed their “appointed-bureaucrat-superintendent” running the show — so now the elected board members need to hear from you!

Did I mention that the Superintendent of Platte County Schools was appointed in 2012. And…that he applied in Wheatland after his former employer, a Minnesota School, failed to renew his contract that same year.

The goal of the Obama administration: Matt Mead on board the train of tyranny; We told you so…

If you have renewed your driver’s license lately, you may notice how compliance with the “Real ID Act” has slowed down the process.Under the guise of safety and anti-terrorism, you must now prove you are a citizen in order to obtain a drivers license.I have received countless calls and emails, mostly from folks that have lived in Wyoming for their entire lives — and now they must submit a birth certificate so it can be kept on file in the driver’s license agency data-base.

Besides the obvious privacy concerns — everyone should be deeply troubled about concealed carry permit information that is housed within that database and the ability of the feds to access this data.

Just another Washington D.C. scheme that could make gun registration just a key-stroke away.

And as it seems — instead of defending the liberties of law abiding citizens — there is an ever increasing push placing our freedoms in jeopardy with layer after new layer of new D.C. regulations.

Governor Mead a former federal attorney appears to okay with the general assault on freedom coming out of Washington.

In but another example, when asked about the wrongly named patriot act in 2010, Mead said, “you’re not going to like my answer, but I support it”.

If all of this rubs you the wrong way, it gets worse.

While it has definitely become more difficult for you — it just got easier for illegal aliens to obtain a drivers license in Wyoming!

It’s no secret that Governor Mead appointed a Democrat Attorney General.

And now AG Gregory Phillips has ordered WY-DOT to accept “dreamers” applications for a driver’s license.

According to a one report AG Phillips consulted with Mead directly before issuing the new order.

A “dreamer” is a young immigrant that would otherwise be an illegal alien. But under Obama’s new amnesty program, this same illegal alien is issued a social security card along with a federal work permit.

In California these “dreamers” are on track to receive entitlement-benefits including a free ride to a state university.

The goal of the Obama administration is simple — to foster an environment that increases a liberal big government voter base.

Like you I’m tired of seeing other states leading the fight against Obama’s agenda, while Governor Mead is sitting on his hands.

Arizona’s Governor refused to comply with Obama’s dream scheme, inferring that Obama’s amnesty program isn’t actually law and that Arizona has no duty under state statute to issue drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.

The real question is this, how far you will let a Republican Governor align Wyoming’s policy with Obama’s progressive agenda — before you’ve had enough?

Now let’s talk about guns…

Remember that during the recent legislative session Mead was against pro-gun legislation — even though these bills passed the house with overwhelming majorities.

I personally witnessed Governor Mead’s assistant chief of staff — Tony Young lobbying legislators in the hallways of the Capitol — urging them to vote against pro-gun legislation.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, Mead often had multiple staffers in committee meetings. Using Mr. Young as well as other members of his policy team.

Boswell is now one of Wyoming’s top paid lobbyist now working for Univ of Wyoming. This was a stacked deck committee hearing on HB-105 that was heard on the same day that “education lobby” was holding an event in Cheyenne. Mead’s policy staffer Mike Reed was also on the record at this meeting for being against HB-105.

And it was Mead’s consistent pressure that ensured these bills were killed in the senate.

Mead was publicly against HB-104 — legislation that would have made a Washington D.C. semi-automatic and magazine ban — unenforceable — within the borders of Wyoming.

By the way, the Montana legislature recently passed a bill making a D.C. gun grab unenforceable in their state. But wouldn’t you know…the “Democrat” governor vetoed it.

Clearly Mead may be wearing the wrong jersey since he’s running plays for the other team.

Mead was also against HB-105, legislation that would allow Wyoming citizens with a concealed carry permit issued by the state of Wyoming to carry concealed on public school grounds and college campuses.

Like Obama, Mead must also believe that gun-free zones, or better called — victim disarmament zones — where law abiding citizens like you and me are now helpless to defend themselves is the best plan.

Of course you probably remember — this isn’t how Mead talked while on the campaign trail in 2010.

I have said that as a U.S. Attorney, Mead would remain true to the federal agenda.

Mead’s own actions prove that you can take the federal prosecutor out of Washington D.C. – but you can’t take the Washington D.C. out of a former prosecutor, in this case D.C. attorney turned Governor.

And this is the reason Wyoming Gun Owners exists — to expose politicians in either party that treat Freedom with contempt.

Wyoming Poised to Stand up to Federal Bans on Most Guns

At a time when Barack Obama is pushing legislation to ban millions of shotguns, rifles and handguns that Americans legally own — and possibly 100% of all magazines of whatever size — the Wyoming House recently said “no” to Obama’s gun control.
By a vote of 46-to-13, the state House passed House Bill 104, which would:
(1) Prohibit Wyoming law enforcement from enforcing unconstitutional federal gun bans with respect to semi-autos or Wyoming intrastate guns;
(2) Prohibit federal law enforcement from pursuing its unconstitutional ban in Wyoming; and
(3) Allow the state attorney general to defend Wyoming residents unconstitutionally persecuted by the federal government.
The ability of Wyoming to resist unconstitutional federal actions has always been important.
But now, with Obama legislation on the table which would ban most guns –- although Obama won’t admit it -– it becomes critical.
ACTION:  Contact your state senator.  Ask him to support House Bill 104.

Cynthia Lummis closet anti Bill of Rights?

While you and I were busy fighting an expansion of gun-free zones here in Wyoming, the folks in Washington D.C. were moving to enact new gun control on a unsuspecting public.

Sadly Representative Cynthia Lummis voted YES on a measure that criminalizes someone that is lawfully carrying a firearm for self defense.

Under this federal legislation, H.R. 347 – Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act, anyone addressing the government with grievances (like the first amendment guarantees) while lawfully in possession of a firearm, could face ten years in prison.

The gun grabbers recipe is simple:

Create new places where the second amendment no longer applies – Start by taking something as harmless as tea party gathering, combine new regulations that say it’s disruptive of government business, finally throw law abiding gun owners into the mix, and there you have it, gun owners under the bus again!

The text in H.R. 347 is so telling of the real agenda — expansive gun control– just being in the “proximity” of federal property — could be punishable.

Who defines “proximity”?

Does it mean 10 or 10,000 feet?

Please call Rep. Cynthia Lummis and tell her a vote for “gun control” no matter how insignificant it may seem is a vote against Wyoming.
