One sick puppy; Can’t this POTUS ever tell the truth about anything?

January 12, 2016

From Gun Owners of America:

The president conducted another dog-and-pony show last week during a CNN-sponsored “Town Hall.”

The president trotted out several worn-out lies, like his claim that guns are more likely to kill you than save your life.

He even had the audacity to say that background checks are necessary since we wouldn’t otherwise know if drug dealers were buying guns.

Really?!? Has the president already forgotten Fast & Furious — when his administration gave green lights to known criminals so they could purchase firearms and smuggle them south of the border?

Of course he didn’t forget, but this president doesn’t care about facts or statistics that don’t support his ambitious gun control agenda.

The United States is experiencing record low crime rates, but Obama continues to pursue his anti-gun agenda in spite of the fact that murder rates are at their lowest levels in 25 years.

Nevertheless, Obama tried to make his radical agenda sound like it’s simply a few tweaks here and there — ignoring, of course, that his oath to uphold the Constitution should prevent him from imposing any “infringements” on gun rights at all.

GOA on the Front Lines

Though the President’s media circus last Thursday night was tightly controlled by the White House, GOA spokesmen have appeared on more than a thousand media outlets to discuss the President’s agenda.

You can view a few of them here:

* Larry Pratt Debunking the “Gun Show Loophole” on Fox Business News;

* A “tense” debate with a CNN host who attempted to keep me from debunking the anti-gun liberals’ talking points.

* Plus many more radio and TV appearances where GOA spokesmen have recently taken on Obama’s gun control proposals — all viewable at GOA’s YouTube page here.

ANTLER COLLECTORS REMINDED OF RESTRICTIONS

December 14, 2010

I have been called a “rollover” for the Colorado Division of Wildlife, and worse in the past. What follows has some very serious problems… I’ll respond to any serious questions about my reservations with this latest episode in beast verses man, and Mankind…

GUNNISON, Colo. — The Colorado Division of Wildlife is reminding antler hunters that the collection of shed antlers in the Gunnison Basin is regulated by strict guidelines.

The purpose of the regulations is to protect vulnerable wildlife species, especially Gunnison sage-grouse and mule deer, explained J Wenum, area wildlife manager in Gunnison.

Collecting shed antlers for commercial use has grown significantly during the last decade in the Gunnison area. The activity can disturb Gunnison sage-grouse during their mating period, and also cause unnecessary harassment of deer and elk on winter range. Collectors are cautioned to know the regulations. Violations could result in confiscation of antlers, a $68 fine and five penalty points against hunting and fishing privileges.

“The Colorado Division of Wildlife takes the disturbance of wildlife species during the critical winter period very seriously,” Wenum said.

Over the years, unscrupulous antler collectors have been observed chasing deer on foot and with snowmobiles, searching areas at night, and going onto private land without permission.

Shed antler collection on public lands in Game Management Units 54, 55, 551, 66 and 67 is closed completely from Jan. 1 through March 14 annually. From March 15 through May 15, collecting is prohibited from sunset to 10 a.m. daily.

The regulations were adopted by the Colorado Wildlife Commission and based on a collaborative petition submitted by the Gunnison Basin Sage Grouse Strategic Committee, Gunnison-area sportsmen and shed antler collectors. The DOW worked closely with those groups to develop the regulations.

The period of the first closure (Jan. 1 to March 14) assures that deer herds and Gunnison sage-grouse are not harassed during the difficult winter months. The second closure period (March 15 to May 15) ensures that Gunnison sage-grouse are not disturbed during the critical early morning hours of their mating period.

The closures will be strictly enforced. Collectors are advised to consult official sunset tables and to obtain accurate public lands maps.

For more information, or to report violations or suspicious activity, call the DOW office in Gunnison at (970) 641-7060.

Return of the Dumbest Poachers Awards

November 27, 2010

In the first three Poachey award ceremonies AmericanHunter.org celebrated stupidity of the finest order. You’ve been witness to everything from the adventures of robo deer to the misadventures of the sorely mistaken the-law-don’t-check-my-Facebook-page poacher. Ah, such classics.

In a season in which I’ve heard that poachers in Oregon probably take as many mule deer as legal hunters, and Wisconsiners will be reporting game violations via text message, I couldn’t resist putting together another compilation. Even if deer season’s final day is a long way off. And trust me, this isn’t the last you’ve seen of these awards in 2010-11.

Discriminatory ‘profiling’?

November 18, 2010

“The Transportation Security Administration’s demeaning new ‘enhanced pat-down’ procedures are a direct result of the Obama administration’s willful blindness to the threat from Islamic radicals. While better tools are available to keep air travelers safe, they would involve recognizing the threat for what it is, which is something the White House will never do. El Al, Israel’s national airline, employs a smarter approach. Any airline representing the state of Israel is a natural — some might say preeminent — target for terrorist attacks. Yet El Al has one of the best security records in the world and doesn’t resort to wide-scale use of methods that would under other circumstances constitute sexual assault. The Israelis have achieved this track record of safety by employing sophisticated intelligence analysis which allows them to predict which travelers constitute a possible threat and which do not. Resources are then focused on the more probable threats with minimal intrusion on those who are likely not to be terrorists. Here in the United States, these sophisticated techniques have roundly been denounced as discriminatory ‘profiling.’ … TSA believes an 80-year-old grandmother deserves the same level of scrutiny at an airport terminal checkpoint as a 19-year-old male exchange student from Yemen. This policy not only is a waste of time and resources, it denies reality. … Despite all the government bureaucracy and TSA’s intrusive inspection practices, [al Qaeda underwear bomber Umar Farouk] Abdulmutallab’s attack was only foiled because of a faulty bomb and the actions of alert passengers. Now all passengers have to pay the price by having their privacy (and their privates) invaded, which is the Obama administration’s alternative to instituting a policy that will target the source of the problem.” —The Washington Times

Belly Laugh of the Week: Politics

October 30, 2010

Belly Laugh of the Week: “One of [Barack] Obama’s greatest political weaknesses has been his stubborn — and unrequited — love for bipartisanship. … The expected Republican gains in the coming mid-term elections may solve one of Obama’s problems: his misplaced faith in logic, persuasion and cooperation in the national interest.” –Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial page editor Cynthia Tucker

Belly Laugh II: “Unlike Ronald Reagan, whose poll ratings were slightly lower than Obama’s just before the 1982 mid-term elections, Obama didn’t take every possible opportunity to pin the economic mess on his predecessor.” –Cynthia Tucker, missing the fact that Obama takes every opportunity — and then some — to blame Bush

Sympathy for the devil: “Nancy Pelosi is considered one of the most effective speakers in congressional history. But now she’s faced with the fact that Democrats could lose the House in November. You get indignant when you hear that.” –CBS’s Rita Braver to Pelosi, who responded, “I don’t get indignant. I just don’t believe it.”

“Where is the celebration over what has been done and accomplished [by Barack Obama] in the face of all this anger and vitriol in Washington?” –MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski

Whose money is it? “Why are we letting the top 2 percent of the population win over the other 98?” –MSNBC’s Ed Schultz on taxes

Non Compos Mentis: “[The Tea Party’s philosophy is] every man for himself. … No more taxes, no more government, no more everything. No more safety net. You know these people, if they were every man for himself down in that mine [in Chile], they wouldn’t have gotten out. … They would have been killing each other after about two days.” –MSNBC host Chris Matthews

New England Journal of Medicine: Stuck on stupid, again…

October 25, 2010
Medical journals are not always the objective, purely scientific publications we might think that they are. Their editors have increasingly strayed into politics at the expense of scientific accuracy. For example, the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine has over the last few months published a number of extremely biased and poorly done studies on gun control.

Pot and kettle

October 7, 2010

Post partisan politics? “If I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I am going to strangle them.” –Joe Biden, who quickly added, “To the press, that’s a figure of speech.”

The BIG Lie: “If you are concerned about debt and deficits, the other side is not presenting any serious ideas.” –BO

Whose money is it? “Their number one economic priority is giving $700 billion in tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires.” –BO, who doesn’t want small business owners to keep their own money

Demotivational speaker: “Every single one of you is a shareholder in that mission of rebuilding our country and reclaiming our future. We can’t let this country fall backwards because the rest of us didn’t care enough to fight. The stakes are too high for our country and for your future.” –Barack Obama

Failing to practice what you preach: “[Y]ou have to go by the three C’s: the Constitution, your conscience and your constituents when you make a vote. What your caucus, Democratic or Republican, thinks is very, very secondary to what I just described.” –House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who routinely ignores the Constitution

Pot and kettle: “I’m always suspicious of, uh, of politics that is dividing people instead of bringing them together.” —Barack Obama, the great divider, on the immigration debate

Pot and kettle again: “It seems to me that Tea Party activists, increasingly influential in the Republican Party, do not seem to much like America the way we are.” –Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH)

“[T]he Republicans have said ‘no, no, no.’ … They have been the party of ‘no’ and obstructionism. … [T]hey do not want America to succeed. They’re into politics.” –Sen. Bernie Sander, self-proclaimed socialist from Vermont

Belly Laugh of the Week: “Ours is a complex message. The Tea Party message is pretty easy and simple. We just don’t have it in our make-up, in our DNA, to mislead the public.” –Democrat Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell

Jerry Brown for Govenor of California: Can you say STUPID? I knew ya’ could!

September 28, 2010

California, my state of birth… (Oceanside, California, Camp Pendleton.) Somehow, survived the years that this God forsaken idiot was Governor there. Jerry Brown, caused, via his leftist policy’s and non-leadership; The worst times that the Golden State had ever been through. PERIOD!

He kissed ass to the Unions, to the illegal immigrants, raised taxes beyond belief, held gun owners in contempt, and pissed on the California Constitution as well as the Constitution of the United States of America so many times that I will not even bother with citation! He makes the epic failure obama look like a lightweight!

Now, to be honest? I don’t know an awful lot about Meg Whitman. But what I do know, is that Jerry Brown, is nothing at all like his Father.

Having lived under both, I know well what it is that I speak of.

More HERE.

Vote NO for Jerry Brown Jr!

Will Controversy cool Arizona tourism?

April 27, 2010

Folks, this is straight out of the “stupid is as stupid does” folder. From The Communist News Network, as may well be expected…

Political Correctness at the expense of profit? No, simply political correctness. Arizona will see a tremendous drop in personal, as well as property crimes if the new law is properly enforced. That draws customers. That means money, and lot’s of it. Think about it folks. Las Vegas, Nevada was founded by big time crooks. They knew how to make money. Serious money. They also had, and to an extent still do, some of the toughest street crime fighters around. Why? MONEY!

When people feel safe they will bring their families, and, spend money! Right now? Arizona is the nations capital for kidnapping, home invasions, and God only knows what else! Most of said activities can be directly related to Illegal Aliens. As in drug runners, gang members, and white slavery… Then there is auto theft, and the list just goes on….
